The 138mm Streak 2mm Filter from Tiffen is a special effects filter designed to render a single light ray from a point light source. This filter features a single series of etched lines spaced 2mm apart from each other, which run diametrically across the filter surface. This filter is set in a non-rotating mount and can be used in conjunction with a filter holder or matte box to adjust the orientation of the light ray to suit your composition or desired effect. It is constructed from clear optical-grade glass and mounted in an aluminum filter ring.

Q: 1. Has anyone used this as a spotting scope for benchrest shooting? If so, what would be the maximum effective yardage for viewing the target?

A: I really would not recommend this for Benchrest Shooting. I would go with something with a zoom eyepiece. This model really acts like a telescope with different interchangeable eyepieces. I would personally recommend the Redfield Rampage 20-60x80 Spotting Scope Kit. This would be a good choice for Benchrest Target Shooting. Q: 2. hey guys, I'm thinking to get a zoom lens to work on my a7iii and I don't know if it's better to go for the 100/400 G or this 70/200 G and the 2x extender. what do you suggest? I'm gonna use it for wild photography

A: 70-200mm is a better choice

Q: 3. What is the fov on the standard 25mm eyepiece for the SE8? What would be the next low magnification to get after this one with a wider fov for deep space viewing?

A: Actually the kit 25mm eyepiece ia a wide angle view. Q: 5. Can the L-fn button be used for auto focus, where the L-fn button focuses and the shutter button takes the photo?

Q: 6. How smooth is this focus ring? And how many turns does it take to go from closest focus to infinite in video mode on an Olympus and Panasonic body (preferrable EM1ii, EM5ii, GX85, G85 and GH5).

A: Very smooth. It takes a bit less than 1.5 turns. I have a Lumix GX85

Q: 7. I have a Z6 with a 14/30 F4 lens. Will the 24/70 F2, enable me to get better astrophotography shots, particularly the Milky Way?

Q: 8. I have a Sony NEX-6 with the 6-50 OSS lens. I want to get a telephoto zoom and trying to decide which one to get and whether to get an 18-200 or a 55-200?

A: This is one situation where it seems the 18-200mm lens may slightly out-perform the two-lens setup of the 16-50mm and 55-210mm lenses. While image quality does typically prefer the two-lens setup, the 18-200mm lens is well-designed (as indicated by its price), and the main struggles it would have would be with chromatic abberation, and slightly with distortion on the wide-end of the zoom; however, even for the all-in-one lens, it performs better than the 16-50mm lens at 16mm natively. When using the 16-50mm lens and the 55-210mm lens, some of the optical issues can be corrected simply by activating the camera's Distortion Correction feature, which also assists in correcting for vignetting. Basically, if you are on a budget, the two lens setup would be a good option, using the camera's Distortion Correction feature, but if you need a one-lens-does-all solution, then the 18-200mm lens is a good option on the NEX camera platform.

Q: 9. Will this lens work with the A6000?

A: As the Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS Lens is designed for use on the Sony E-mount, which is the lens mount used on the Sony Alpha a6000 Mirrorless Digital Camera, yes, the lens would be compatible for use on the a6000 Digital Camera.

Q: 10. What is the year of manufacture of the 8SE, before or post 2016?

A: The Scope started being Manufactured in 2008.
