A: Yes, the arca plate is a standard plate that is sold separately. We use this both in studio for a B Camera mount for the XF100 and as our field mount. It is much better build the any of the tab type tripods we have. It is a little heavier, but very easily field usable, and once you get good with the twist-drop-twist, I think you fill find this to be a great tripod for the money given the quality.

A: This head will fit on any tripod, either 3/8 or 1/4 screw. This depends on whether you can get the tripod head off. We do not carry that tripod but the opinion is you can remove the ballhead and then you can put the Magnus in place.

A: The tripod does not have a column that goes horizontal. The center column is reversible, facilitating low-angle photography where an attached camera is positioned among the tripod's legs instead of above them.
