A: Hi Jan, I tihink the only difference between these Beamer model is the grip around the front end of your flash. You will like a tight grip so that the whole power of the flash goes into the beamer. In older models you needed to add shims for some flash heads to obtain this tight fit. With these new models it is possible to find the fit which suits your flash. FX3 should fit the Nikon SB700 pefectly.
