A: I have the Novoflex adapter shown in your question and I use it with several Voigtlander VM mount lenses. It is well made and does the job. However, it is not a close-up or close focus adapter. In the description and in the Q&A for the Voigtlander VM 40mm f 2.8 Heiar lens it clearly states that what you will need to be able to focus that lens is the Voightlander VM to E-Mount Close-Up Adapter . I also have that same adapter and it is very well made and works well with my Voigtlander lenses. I do not own the 40mm f 2.8 but if I were to purchase it I would follow the indications and get the Voigtlander Close-Up Adapter.
