A: Sorry, I have not tried that. Set mine up for Mac when I bought it. Auto backup from SD card works as advertised. I format SD cards after backing up to two devices so I don't ever see files re-copied.

A: By nature of iOS you can't shoot directly to the wireless HD. You can however transfer using the WD app to the drive after you shoot the footage.

A: No it is not. I know several people who have these and they have never had an issue.

A: It does not appear WD provided an option to export to the camera roll.

A: It has at 5400 rpm drive. Its not a speed demon but great back-up drive for the price. Only drive this size that I know of with a 7200 rpm drive is the G-Force. Pricey but IMO worth the money not only for the speed but also the reliabilty.

A: Sorry i do not know exactly, but i do not like it anyway, its slow and very sensitive and heavy

A: You can use this for PC or Mac. Warning though, there is a problem with this drive. It randomly disconnects. It's a flaw or a bug. It's like the USB is pulled out immediately. I want to return or exchange mine, but it's beyond 30-days now.
