The Tiffen 4 x 5" 1 Plum Hard-Edge Graduated Filter helps to specifically add a warm, pale purple coloration to skies and other bright areas of an image while allowing a portion of the image to remain neutrally colored. The filter's coloring is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a hard-edged transition between the density and clear areas. The 1 color density provides less plum coloration than the 2 density filter.

This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 4 x 5" / 101.6 x 127mm.

Note: A vertical orientation filter's line of transition runs parallel to the short side of the filter.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I understand that this is normally not recommended for camcorders, but will a Sony FDR-AX700 even fit on it?

A: Although it can carry up to 8lbs and we've tested it successfully with a 5D Mk IV + EF 85mm f/1.4L IS USM lens. Based on the specs of the camera you've mentioned, it will likely be too long, though more testing needs to be done.

Q: 2. I see that the single grip handle can be removed. Is there a dual grip handle that they will offer as an option as well?

A: Hey Sean, though accessories have not been announced yes for the Ronin-S (as of writing this reply), it is very likely that we will release a 2-handed grip.

Q: 3. How is control of the Nikon D850? I understand it's on the list of compatible cameras but a review from September indicated the firmware still didn't support control of the camera.

A: According to DJI, the D850 is compatible with the Ronin S. See here. https://bit.ly/2SQSOGv

Q: 4. Can you daisy chain two of these drives and configure in a RAID 5?

A: Hi Caitlin, the version you are looking at there is configured with a soft RAID, and is designed for RAID 1 or 0.You used to be able to configure the RAID in Apple Disk Utility, but the feature was removed in El Capitan. Even if you were to connect to a machine running Yosemite, you still would not be able to reconfigure two units daisy chained as a RAID 5.With a 3rd party software it maybe possible, but by now price wise you would be better going with the sensible solution, and buying a 4 bay unit.https://a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1048664-REG/g_technology_0g03298_g_speed_studio_r_thunderbolt.html target= _blank www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1048664-REG/g_technology_0g03298_g_speed_studio_r_thunderbolt.html/aThe G-SPEED Studio uses a hardware RAID, making it more stable, and is designed for RAID 0,1,5 and 10.

Q: 5. Does it support object tracking?

A: Currently the Ronin-S doesn't have Active Track technology like the Osmo Mobile 2 or DJI drones. However, in future firmware and software updates there will always be new features added.

Q: 6. Hi Guys, does this drive show up as 2 drives on the desktop ? My Pro Tools software requires two seperate drives, one for video and one for audio. Thanks

A: Hi, as mentioned above out of the box the G-RAID is set up as RAID 0 and will be seen as one drive. You can delete the RAID in Disk Utility, creating a JBOD, and then format each drive individually. (Call one Audio, and one Video.)If you are running El Capitan the drives will appear as individual drives in Disk Utility and you will be able to format each drive to create your Audio and Video drive.

Q: 7. will this work with my Lumix Panasonic g84? thanks

A: If you are referring to the Lumx G85, then yes it will. You will be able to balance and shoot with the G85 on the Ronin-S. However it is not listed by DJI for camera control at this time.

Q: 8. Is the Ronin-S compatible with canon XC10 or Nikon D7500 or D750?

A: We have not tested the canon XC10, but upon review it doesn't seem like anything will stop it from being able to be balanced, however more testing is necessary. The Nikon D7500 and D750 can be balanced perfectly, but shutter/startstop, focus is not currently compatible. More development is being done and more cameras will be made compatible in later firmware updates.

Q: 9. Saw there's a hot shoe mount on top, anyone think this will be able to hold a SmallHd focus monitor also?

A: It is not been announced by DJI what that shoe is for. What you are asking may very well work but we will just have to wait and see regarding this new release.

Q: 10. Does the DJI Ronin-S have the wireless RC controller like the Ronin-M?

A: Update: Yes, Ronin S will be compatible with the Ronin 2 remote.
