The 3-stop, 4 x 6" Tiffen Hard-Edge (Horizontal Orientation) Graduated ND Filter is a graduated neutral density filter that helps to specifically darken skies and other bright areas of the image. The filter is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a hard-edged line of transition between the density and clear areas. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and the 0.9 optical density provides a 3 stop reduction in light from entering the lens.

This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 4 x 6" / 101.6 x 152.4mm.

Note: A horizontal orientation filter's line of transition runs parallel to the long side of the filter.

A: At the time, that was not an officially released unit. That part has not been announced as an accessory, but it was originally used for balance purposes. The gimbal has been improved since then and some users have been using the cold shoe on the top of their cameras (if available).

A: Unless they have changed the design, this is a thunderbolt 1 device which comes with a thunderbolt 1 cable. The fact that is thunderbolt 1 vs. 2 is a non-issue because you're limited (even with a fast raid set up) by the speed of the internal non-SSD hard drives, which though 7200, perform at a speed much less than possible through thunderbolt 1 technology. That being said, I own five of these drives and like them very much.

A: Hi, as mentioned above out of the box the G-RAID is set up as RAID 0 and will be seen as one drive.You can delete the RAID in Disk Utility, creating a JBOD, and then format each drive individually. (Call one Audio, and one Video.)If you are running El Capitan the drives will appear as individual drives in Disk Utility and you will be able to format each drive to create your Audio and Video drive.
