The Tiffen 6.6 x 6.6" 2 Plum Hard-Edge Graduated Filter helps to specifically add a warm, pale purple coloration to skies and other bright areas of an image while allowing a portion of the image to remain neutrally colored. The filter's coloring is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a hard-edged transition between the density and clear areas. The 2 color density provides less plum coloration than the 3 density, but more than the 1 density filter.

This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 6.6 x 6.6" / 167.6 x 167.6mm.

Q: 1. I would like to daisy chain this device with a G-RAID 4TB drive. If I plan to configure in RAID 0, what will the setup look like? Will it be one big speed drive or two separate RAID 0 drives?

A: Daisy chaining allows you to connect multiple drives through a single port on your system, but it does not combine the drives. They will each show up as individual devices still.

Q: 2. Where's the fan sound? Ive been using this unit for 3 days and feels a little hot, but the fan doesnt start. Also I connected my 2nd display to the TB port of this unit and doesn't work... Am I missing something?

A: Just turned on my 8TB G-RAID TB. There is a startup sound, then it has only a very faint sound, which I assume is the fan but I'm not really sure. I searched the G-Tech support pages but couldn't find anything specific to the G-RAID fan. There was something about another model, G-Safe, having a fan that only comes on when the drive overheats. But I don't know if that applies to the G-RAID too. I have a vague memory that my drive case sometimes feels a little warm and maybe reading somewhere that that's OK. But if yours feels really hot, you might want to just return it and ask to exchange it for another one. Also, do you have at least 4 inches of free space around all sides of the drive? I think that's supposed to be especially important in the rear, in terms of good ventilation.

Q: 3. Saw there's a hot shoe mount on top, anyone think this will be able to hold a SmallHd focus monitor also?

A: It is not been announced by DJI what that shoe is for. What you are asking may very well work but we will just have to wait and see regarding this new release.

Q: 4. whats in the box

A: If you read the description it tells you

Q: 5. The follow focus works for the Sony a7s ii?

A: Sony camera's cannot do follow focus at this time. However, there is going to be a separate motor for pulling focus with any camera and lens. Here is the compatibility chart. https://bit.ly/2Mi3Th2

Q: 6. Hi. Is there a way to attach a wireless follow focus to this gimbal?

A: I do not recommend it for the balance

Q: 7. what version of thunderbolt cable comes with? Thunderbolt cable 1 or 2 ?

A: Unless they have changed the design, this is a thunderbolt 1 device which comes with a thunderbolt 1 cable. The fact that is thunderbolt 1 vs. 2 is a non-issue because you're limited (even with a fast raid set up) by the speed of the internal non-SSD hard drives, which though 7200, perform at a speed much less than possible through thunderbolt 1 technology. That being said, I own five of these drives and like them very much.

Q: 8. Does the Ronin S essentials Kit cable compatibility with Sony a7iii or I have to buy another cable?

A: Unfortunately it does not. You would need to purchase BH #DJRONINP13CB which is the control cable for the Sony A7iii. https://bhpho.to/2KuHQ7Y

Q: 9. does it works with european dc power standards (50HZ - 220v)

A: Yes, the G-Technology 4TB G-RAID External Dual-Drive Storage System will work with voltage from 100-240v AC at 50/60Hz without an issue. Please note that it ships with a US power cord, and you will need an adapter to allow it to fit into a European outlet.

Q: 10. I have Sony Ar7III with 24105f4G. If I change zooming length, do I need to balance again for the new zooming length?

A: As others have said correctly, it is best to rebalance the Ronin-S whenever your center of gravity changes. If the change is not dramatic, the powerful motors of the Ronin-S will likely be able to handle the change, though it's important to avoid running an unbalanced setup as much as possible.
