A: Since the Canon C400 is a newly announced product, we do not currently have compatibility information with the Wooden Camera Battery Slide for C300 Mark III and C500 Mark II (V-Mount). The 4 Pin XLR power cable would be compatible, but the mounts to the camera may not be the same distance for proper compatibility.

Q: 2. is the rail long enough for a 100-400mm lens? I would only extend the lens up to perhaps 200mm.

A: It is not advisable to use the Sunwayfoto DMP-140R Nodal Slide with most 100-400mm lenses.

Q: 3. How to the results compare to that of the plustek scanner?

A: Never used a Plustek scanner, so I cannot compare. However, when the ES-1 is used with a DX camera (Nikon D500 for me) and the recommended Nikkor lenses (I used a 40mm Micro with 52mm filter threads, no extensions), the results are excellent.

A: No, Nikon ES-1 Slide Copying Adapter BH #NIES1 will not work with the Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro G OSS Lens BH #SO9028.

A: Yes, the Wooden Camera Battery Slide for the C300 Mark III and C500 Mark II (Gold Mount) will work with and support the Canon C400.

Q: 9. Can you adapt this to work with a Canon EOS DSLR? There dont seem to be good options for Canon

A: No adapter is required as this fits in front of the lens and connects to the lens threads. I use this on a Canon Macro lens without any adaptor.

Q: 10. I have the Nikon 200mm macro F/4 macro will this work on my lens ? Full frame D-700 camera.

A: I have that same lens and it did not work. I had to go get the 60mm macro and that works perfectly.
