Rosco Fluorescent Lighting Sleeves/Tube Guards are a very reliable and cost-effective system for easy control of tough lighting scenarios- especially under fluorescents. In addition to the financial benefits of the sleeves, they protect against the potential disaster of glass shattering by containing the lamp within the end caps.

Rosco sleeves are constructed of a solid polycarbonate tube within which is held the specific filter. The choice of filters and combination of filters is endless - there are complete Roscolux, Cinegel or E-Colour color filter lines - something for every venue, every photographer, every cinematographer.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is anyone using the RRS BH-55 with the Benro TMA38CL tripod ? If so any issue with 77mm Ball base vs the tripod mounting plate dia of 56 mm ?

A: This combination works very well. The plate mount on the BH-55 is Arca type size making the 77mm ball base irrelevant.

Q: 2. with the legs collapsed how wide around is the part where you would grab the tripod to walk around with?

A: The diameter of the Oben CTT-1000L Carbon Fiber Tabletop Tripod (Long), BH #OBCTT1000L while closed is 6 inches.

Q: 3. What's the most suitable Benro Head that goes with this model? (I have a D500 with Sigma 150-600C and my Benro C2692TB1 tripod/head is wobbling with it.)

A: I have the GD3WH on it. It's light, very sturdy and doesn't have a conflict with hitting any part of the tripod when tilted or turned.

Q: 4. How would the Gitzo GIGH5380S ball head work with the GT3542 tripod for bird photography with a canon 100-400 lens on a 5D mark 3?

A: I use a Wimberly head on this tripod for bird photography with both the Cannon 100 to 400 lens and the Cannon 600mm lens. I find it is much easier to stay on a bird with the Wimberly head that the Gitzo ball head that I previously used. The balance is much better.

Q: 5. Do the legs go out so the tripod is flat to the ground?

A: The Benro TMA38CL Long Series 3 Mach3 Carbon Fiber Tripod can go as low at 14 inches. It cannot go flat to the ground.

Q: 6. I have a Novoflex MagicBall Ballhead, will this tripod fit with it? Or do I need to buy any accessories for it?

A: Yes. That ball head would be fine. The other two reviews are a bit misguided in my opinion, as there is no such thing as excess stability, or “overpowering” of a ball head. Yes, aesthetically, the ball head may look a bit odd when compared to the base. Yes, the tripod is bulky, and a bit heavy. It is a rock though.

Q: 7. What is the max height of the tripod without extending the center column? Thanks.

A: This tripod measures 59 1/2 inches without extending the center column and without a ball head mounted onto it. I am 6 ft tall, and I find this tripod to be more than adequate for all the landscape photography work that I do - note that it also comes with a short center column, allowing you to work very close to the ground if desired.

Q: 8. What is the country of origin?

A: country of origin is Italy

Q: 9. Is this tripod sturdy enough for a Nikon 600/4 VR mounted on a full Wimberley (WH-200)?

A: I have this tripod with the Wimberley gimbal head. Together they weigh about 7 pounds. I use this rig with a 200-400 and a 1.4TC and my D810 or D750. I get better results with the D750 as there is less sensitivity to micro-blur.The rig is substantial enough for my lens, but I do not know how much heavier/longer your 600mm lens is. I do not think weight is the issue, but you can check the specs and compare. My experience is that it is about technique and settings. I get best results with a bean bag resting on the lens, and if the target is stationary, I use m-up. Also use electronic front curtain shutter. The issue is vibration from the shutter rolling down the lens. I do not think this is a tripod issue. I sometimes use my arm laying on the lens if I am shooting fast enough.

Q: 10. Do the legs have water or weather resistant seals?

A: The Benro Self-Adjusting Twist Locks are designed for comfortable, rapid operation, while also providing excellent dust and all-weather resistance.
