The Easyrig 2.5 500 Camera Support for Cameras Up to 28 lb is a cost effective system which can be used with both film and video cameras. Ergonomically designed, the Easyrig reduces the static load on the neck and shoulder muscles, and distributes it to other parts of the body which are more capable of handling it.

The Easyrig gives you the speed and mobility of a handheld camera, while still achieving steady shots from the shoulder, the hip or knee level. The suspension lines support cameras between 24 and 28 pounds.

The Easyrig is ideal for news broadcasts, sport events, documentaries, commercials or any other handheld situations where stability is crucial and freedom to move is essential

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can this vest work with the glidecam hd4000?

A: Two considerations here. 1. Since the tube that interfaces the arm to the rig is not a standard, it depends what the two diameters are. Unfortunately, the manufacturer's do not list this information. 2. You need keep the HD4000 and camera set up to 5.5 lbs or over in order for the arm to work. If you are not aware, there is a large Steadicam community out there. There are forums that are available to you that probably have user experience in this combination.

Q: 2. Does this new Minimax powerpack with Stabil Light fit on the original Minimax vest?

A: Yes, The Easyrig Minimax Powerpack (Only With STABIL Light) would be compatible and fit the original Minimax vest.

Q: 3. Will this vest and arm work with the Steadicam Solo Stabilizer?

A: Yes it will work great. It's better if that handle is curved.

Q: 4. Does this work with Cranes 3S?

A: Yes it does.

Q: 5. Does it work with Blackmagic broadcast G2 6k?

A: Yes, the Easyrig Minimax with Quick Release BH #EAMINIMAXQ can be used with the Blackmagic Design URSA Broadcast G2 Camera when paired with the 1/4"-20 Ball Stud.

Q: 6. Can I used this with the Arri alexa mini?

A: This Easyrig model can support a 4.4 to 15.4 lb payload. Many Alexa Mini set-ups will be above this range. We recommend weighing your camera rig (lens on) and picking a model based on that. The Easyrig Vario 5 (BH #EAVARIO5A5) might be a better option, with a 11 to 38 lb load capacity.

Q: 7. Can this support and function with the FX9 camera?

A: The Easyrig Minimax (B&H# EAMINIMAX) can support and may be used with a Sony PXW-FX9 XDCAM 6K Full-Frame Camera System (Body Only) (B&H# SOPXWFX9). See below: https://bhpho.to/3iLcw96

Q: 8. What’s the benefit over a spring arm when using a Ronin. Looks like you’d hit alot of doorways and it would tug on your rig

A: The main benefit of the Easyrig Minimax is to help with controlling the weight of a rig during long shoots. The Easyrig Minimax is not designed for movement. A Vest and arm solution like the Tilta Float, or DigitalFoto Solution Limited THANOS-PRO Support Vest with Dual-Spring Arm would be more appropriate for small spaces, and movement. DigitalFoto Solution Limited THANOS-PRO Support Vest with Dual-Spring Arm for DJI RS 2, RS 3 & RS 3 Pro, and Other Handheld Gimbals BH #DITHANOSPC3 Tilta Float Handheld Gimbal Support System for DJI RS 2 (V-Mount) BH #TIGSST01V

Q: 9. My rig is exactly 15lbs, would this work or am I getting to close to the 15.4lb limit?

A: It should still work, just need to keep it definitely under the 15.4 limit.

Q: 10. Does this work for a canon xf 605? And is this good for long periods of time and running around?

A: Yes, Easyrig Minimax STABIL Light Gimbal/Camera Support System could work with many cameras including the Canon XF605. The Vest may shake when running or moving and many users work with Segway transports for smooth movement. Also yes this would support the cameras weight and be very comfortable for all day use.
