The 2 x 3" Graduated Sunset 2 Filter from Tiffen is an exciting filter. It enhances reality, adding a touch of subtlety or drama to the image. Sometimes it is also desirable to add color to part of the photograph. For example, to add an orange/yellow tint to bump up the effect and punch of the sky. Tiffen Color Graduated filters are half-color, half-clear, with a graduated transition for blending into the scene. Tiffen Graduated Sunset filters are available in grades from 1-3, with 3 having the greatest effect.

A: There us no loss in image quality at all. But you will lose a stop...the lens will now be an F4.

A: It is similar and does allow for very precise focusing, but does not have hard stops like a mechanical focus lens.

A: This isn't an exceptionally wide aperture, so if low-light performance is your top priority, I'd recommend looking at the 70-200 f2.8, or changing your body to an A7s. However, I've been shooting with this as my everyday lens on my A7ii for over a year and I'm very satisfied with the performance in all conditions. I recently tested it against a G-master lens and was surprised that the difference in the image quality was extremely marginal.
