The Tiffen 2 x 3" Glimmerglass 4 Filter is a beauty filter whose function is two-fold: in addition to modifying the appearance of the image itself, it also features a sparkling appearance when viewed from the front, instilling more confidence in the model. The filter itself helps to soften skin details, blemishes, and wrinkles. It also produces glowing highlights and a mild reduction in contrast for a more ethereal appearance. The 4 density provides more softening than the 3, but less than the 5.

This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 2 x 3" / 50.8 x 76.2mm.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is the dedicated manual focus ring mechanical or focus-by-wire?

A: This is focus by wire

Q: 2. I'd like to recreate a cinema zoom. Is this lens parfocal or varifocal? And if so will the subject remain in focus while zooming without the use of autofocus? I'm not looking to use autofocus during a zoom.

A: This lens is varifocal, and is not designed to maintain focus when zooming.

Q: 3. Is this lens heavy enough to justify a tripod collar?

A: No it is not , there is no tripod collar for this lens

Q: 4. Will this lens allow the GH6 to set linear focusing in the menu settings?

A: The Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 25mm f/1.4 II ASPH. Lens with UV Filter mounted on the Panasonic Lumix GH6 Mirrorless Camera supports linear focus.

Q: 5. Is it by design that the manual focus ring on the 70-200GM lens remains active when the camera (and the lens) are set to Auto Focus mode?

A: Yes; in some focus modes, the lens can be auto-focused, followed by a a manual-focus override by rotating the lens focus ring.

Q: 6. Can the new Canon RF mounts connect to this scope through a adapter?

A: You will need (2) items. The Celestron T-Mount Adapter for Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescopes BH #CETAC5 • MFR #93633-A Celestron T-Mount Adapter for Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescopes BH #CETAC5 • MFR #93633-A To attach to the rear of the scope and the Vivitar T-Mount to Canon RF-Mount Adapter BH #VIHFT2EOSR • MFR #HF-T2-EOS-R https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1494990-REG/vivitar_hf_t2_eos_r_t_mount_to_canon_rf_mount.html To mount on your camera body. Those (2) pieces will now screw together

Q: 7. Does this lens 24-240 compatible with Sony A7s ?

A: Yes it is compatible.

Q: 8. I just brought this lens from BH. I'm getting a slight motor noise when I turn on and off the camera from lens. Is this normal or is there something wrong with my lens?

A: I thin its the Image Stabilization making the noise its normal as far as I know

Q: 9. I was wondering if I can use the 24-240mm lens on this camera until I can afford to purchase the 2.8 24-70mm lens to go with this camera. I am going to purchase the new Sony A9 camera and the cost of the camera and that 2.8 24-70mm lens is a little bit beyond my budget right now. So I thought I would purchase the 24-240mm lens instead for now because of the lower cost and I thought that it would be nice to have that extra reach. but I know that the 2.8 24-70mm lens is a faster lens which is better for low light photography. Thank You!

A: I use the 24-240 as a daily use lens, it does a great job and it's not too cumbersome to use all day - for landscape and some nearby wildlife.

Q: 10. Is there any wobble of the extending barrel? Mine has - not really visible but clearly audible.

A: To our knowledge, there is no wobbling when the zoom is extended.
