Made from 1000-denier Cordura fabric, the case has a slip-resistant, easy-clean rubber bottom. It accommodates popular miniDV cameras with add-on items including wireless mics, etc. It has a universal cradle, a camera tie-down strap, and a soft stuff pouch to keep your camcorder stable. Plush, thick, 1" foam padding adds extra stability and protection.

Canon has a history of being rather strict when it comes to 3rd party accessories. 3rd party batteries offer the potential for significant savings in cost however they also come with more risk. Canon's firmware could potentially lock out a battery that it can not authenticate as an official product.. This will reduce the functionality or result in the camera turning off with no warning as you described. Canon does this to prevent their cameras from being damaged by cheap knock off batteries but unfortunately it also affects batteries from reputable companies such as Blueshape. Because of this we can not guarantee that this Blueshape battery will perform any better or worse than the 3rd party battery that you have already tried. if you want the best results we recommend using official Canon Batteries.
