The Tiffen 125mm Coarse Thread 82B Light Balancing Filter helps to increase the color temperature by 300K in order to cool the image slightly in order to match the color quality of illumination. When using an 82B filter, you will be able to attain 3200K balance when the prevailing light source is 2900K. The cooling effect of this filter requires a 0.6-stop increase in exposure for normal results.
This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and then mounting to precision metal rings.
Cooling Light Balancing Filter Adds 300K to Convert 2900 to 3200K ColorCore Technology

Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. Will this work on an Olympus MK III with the HLD-9 battery grip?
A: This Spider Light Z Camera Plate is best for an OM-D E-M5 Mark III without the HLD-9 grip attached.
Q: 2. Can the Sekonic L-308XU accurately measure bulb flash output, e.g. press 25 bulbs?
A: The Sekonic L-308X-U Flashmate Light Meter is only capable of measuring within shutter speeds of 60 seconds to 1/8000.
Q: 3. how bright are they compared to the sun? Can I shoot a day scene at night indoors and use these lights to mimic the sun?
A: They are fairly bright and, unless you are lighting a very large space, would probably work fine. Certainly direct light from them would give quite a high noon glare -- but your actors wouldn't appreciate staring into these things -- so use the umbrellas!!
Q: 4. Can the Minimax be stored with it tightened all the way, or is it best practice to loosen it when being stored?
A: The Easyrig Minimax with Quick Release must be stored in a tension released fashion to stay working properly over time.
Q: 5. Can it be put on a stand if I'm using an uncorded flash without an assistant to hold the meter?
A: Unfortunately this does not have a 1/4-20 on the unit so it can not be screwed onto a stand.
Q: 6. Would it be able to do a cordless setup with the new Godox XProS TTL Wireless Flash Trigger?
A: Handheld light meters measure light, therefore nothing to trigger. Regardless of the light brand or model, once you trigger the lights (via a wired or wireless transmitter) the Sekonic will give you a measurement. You will need to imput ISO and decide what kind of measurement you want, i.e. f stop or shutter speed. Set the Sekonic to read flash and place it in front of your subject with the dome aimed toward the light source. The display will show ISO, f stop and shutter speed once the flash has been triggered.
Q: 7. How to I properly pack these lights in the included bag?
A: That bag got torn apart so easily. I threw it away after a week. I'd find a better bag.
Q: 8. Can a Zacuto Recoil handle be used with the Standard hook on a Easyrig Mninmax STABIL?
A: Yes, the Zacuto Tactical Handle is fully compatible with the Easyrig Mninmax STABIL.
Q: 9. Will this work with the Godox XPro II?
A: Yes, the Godox AD300pro Outdoor Flash will trigger form the Godox XPro II, https://bhpho.to/3QtPGB6.
Q: 10. Can this unit trigger (and meter) a Godox flash via a PC to 3.5mm adapter cable? If so, is there any advantage to this over using the 'meter flash' mode on the meter without connecting to flash via sync cable? Thank you.
A: If your Godox flash has a 3.5mm (1/8") miniphone sync terminal, then yes, you may use a PC-to-miniphone sync cable to connect the flash to the light meter, and pressing the TEST button on the meter will trigger the flash and measure its output. Do note that the flash must be in Manual mode and you must set the flash output manually, as it will not measure TTL automatic flash output. If measured from the same distance, you should get the same/similar reading to using the Cordless Flash Mode.
