The Tiffen 4 x 6" 3 Green Soft-Edge Graduated Filter helps to specifically add a bright green coloration to skies and other bright areas of an image while allowing a portion of the image to remain neutrally colored. The filter's coloring is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a soft-edged transition between the density and clear areas. The 3 color density provides less green coloration than the 4 density, but more than the 2 density filter.

This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 4 x 6" / 101.6 x 152.4mm.

Note: A horizontal orientation filter's line of transition runs parallel to the long side of the filter.

Q: 1. How well does the Sony A7R II (ungripped) fit into the Medium DSLR Core Unit Version 2. I am considering this size as I may want to carry two camera bodies (but not all the time) along with my 70-200mm lens with the foot installed. Or is the Mirrorless core unit still better fit?

A: The Medium DSLR Core Unit V2 would be fine to hold 1 or 2 Sony A7R II bodies without battery grips and your 70-200mm with the foot installed.

Q: 2. Will the X30 fit the medium core DSLR compartment or do I have to buy the X50? For reference, I have a Nikon D850 with a really right stuff right angle bracket on it, 70-200 f/2.8, 24-70 f/2.8, and probably grabbing the 14-24 soon. Thanks for any and all advice!

A: The X50 would be better suited for a larger body like the D850 and the lenses you wish to hold.

Q: 3. I have a Peak Design Everyday 20L backpack and am looking for something larger that will accommodate my mirrorless gear plus extra clothing & supplies. The x30 external dimensions are pretty much the same as my peak design when extended but I'm assuming 30 is the volume in litres (peak design = 20 litres) thanks

A: As per the manufacturer, using the Shimoda Designs Action X30 Backpack Starter Kit with Medium Mirrorless Core Unit Version 2 (Army Green), BH # SHAX30SKG would be best suited for needs. https://bhpho.to/3qjhjyQ

Q: 4. Can the shimoda 50x fit a 16inch MacBook Pro in the laptop sleeve?

A: You may be able to fit it in but it will be a very tight fit given the dimensions of the laptop compared to the compartment in the bag.

Q: 5. Will the MindShift Gear Stash Master 13L fits in the Action X50?

A: based on the measurements it will not fit. It will be a very tight fit if you can get it in.

Q: 6. What's the difference between V1 and V2?

A: The v1 Core Units does not offer side door access since the pack at that time only had rear door access.

Q: 7. Can the laptop sleeve stretch to fit a laptop with 0.9" depth (assuming height and width are good)?

A: The laptop sleeve of the Shimoda Designs Explore v2 30 Backpack Photo Starter Kit (Black, 30L) will be able to accommodate a laptop that is 10 x 15 x 0.9".

Q: 8. Hi, I'm a 5'6" female looking for a backpack that can carry my snowboard, tripod, and DSLR. Will this backpack size down to fit females? Will it fit in an overhead compartment?

A: This great backpack is designed to hold a larger quantity of gear. You can consider the X30 which is a smaller version of it. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1525365-REG/shimoda_designs_520_102_action_x30_starter_kit.html

Q: 9. Will the Z 70-200 2.8 Z6 / Z7 fit inside the Medium DSLR Core Unit?

A: If you want the camera and lens attached then unfortunately it will not fit. It's very close but it doesn't fit. Lens and camera separately, no problem then!

Q: 10. Can a 600 f4 lens fit in the x50 with the large insert?

A: No, that will not fit with the large insert. The Shimoda Designs Action X50 Backpack (Army Green) interior is 22.05 inches tall and the Sony FE 600mm f/4 GM OSS Lens is around 18 inches long.
