The Tiffen 4 x 6" 1 Tobacco Soft-Edge Graduated Filter helps to specifically add a warm, brownish-yellow coloration to skies and other bright areas of an image while allowing a portion of the image to remain neutrally colored. The filter's coloring is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a soft-edged transition between the density and clear areas. The 1 color density provides less tobacco coloration than the 2 density filter.

This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 4 x 6" / 101.6 x 152.4mm.

Note: A horizontal orientation filter's line of transition runs parallel to the long side of the filter.

Q: 1. Lowepro lens case13x32cm,part # LOLC 1332

A: I picked up a small Lowe backpack that works for carrying the lens and camera connected. I did pick up the actual carry bag that was made for the lens and it fits like a glove and is well constructed. Very happy to keep the lens in that when not in use. It does not have a large enough external pocket for a polarizer lens which i carry with the lens.

Q: 2. For the D750, which is the better lens: (1) the Tamron 150-600 FX or (2) the Tamron 150-600 for FX and DX? Price difference is approx $400.

A: I assume you're talking about the (older) Tamron SP 150-600 versus the (newer) 150-600 G2? The supported sensor sizes are the same. Any lens that covers an FX sensor (like your D750 has) will also cover the smaller DX sensor (like my D5200).As for which is better, the G2 has some improvements, but nothing I couldn't live without, and the extra $400 would've broken my budget. I'm quite happy with my (non-G2) lens and the extra money in my pocket.

Q: 3. Will this lens work on a canon rebel T6?

A: Yes. That's what I am using it with.

Q: 4. I have read several reviews and am a bit confused. Will the lens work with either a D800 or D810 and a teleconverter and still be capable of auto focus?

A: You will find the performance to be a bit better on the Nikon D 810, however if you plan to use the lens-teleconverter combo to track moving subjects, then your results will drop dramatically. You would be much better off to use the DX mode on the D 800 or D 810 to take advantage of the crop factor since this gets you the effect of the teleconverter without lowering the amount of light hitting the sensor. The only drawback is now your skill needs to be higher in order to keep your subject in the center of the frame. This can be challenging when you have the whole frame to work with and becomes much more difficult in the crop mode. In short, there are tradeoffs with every choice you make so choose wisely....!

Q: 5. Will this lens work with Nikon 1 V3 using FT1 adaptor?

A: I use the lens on a Nikon D7000

Q: 6. Is this lens compatible with the nikon D7500?

A: It is compatible.

Q: 7. Has anyone used this lens for sports photography? If so, what were your results? What were the results on an overcast day?

A: Have not used it yet for any sports photography

Q: 8. i have a nikon camera with a tamron lens sp150-600mm and it says lens not connected?

A: Sorry that I can't help your exact situation. I use this lens with Canon mount on my Canon 5D Mark II and have not experienced this problem.

Q: 9. Will this lens work with a Cannon EOS Rebel t4i?

A: Yes, the Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD Lens for Canon will work with the Canon Eos Rebel T4i. Auto focus and aperture control will be available. Because of the APS-C sensor in the Canon T4i one needs to factor in the 1.6 crop factor, the actual 35mm equivalent focal length is 240mm-960mm.

Q: 10. Can I use the lens in my Nikon d7500

A: Yes, fully compatible with the D7500.
