The Tiffen 4 x 5.65" Complement Red 1 Glass Filter is part of a series of special effect filters intended to balance the overall tone of your image. Graduated Complement filters provide the needed color balance to half of your image by filling in a "complementary" color. Tiffen Complementary filters are designed to be used together with a Color-Grad filter in this manner, or to add a bit of color interest on their own.

A beautiful sunset, a serene ocean and a wooden pier with an old fisherman standing alone at the end of the dock. What a photo it is! So, you throw on your Graduated Twilight filter and the vast sky dominating the image gets "bumped" up in color and contrast. But what about the foreground? The Graduated Complement filter allows you to "share" some of that "bump" with the all-too-often forgotten foreground. Thus, the entire image benefits. The overall tint your photo now has makes it an even better photo.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can you Remove the ball head and swap with something else? is so, how big is the screw?

A: Yes, you can remove the ball head, the screw is a standard 5/8

Q: 2. What is the maximum length of the monopod?

A: The total length of the of the monopod is approximately 67".

Q: 3. Does this tripod come with a short center column?

A: Short column is sold separately:

Q: 4. Is this Head compatible with a Canon 6D?

A: The answer is Yes and No. The head cannot attach DIRECTLY to the Canon body or any other camera. It requires an Arca Swiss style mounting plate that stays attached to the camera body. A generic plate comes with the tripod. With the mounting plate in place the Canon (or any other camera) fits into the clamp on top of the ballhead. A few quick turns of the screw on the clamp will securely attach the camera with mounting plate to the tripod head. For the system to be efficient there should be a mounting plate that stays in place on every camera body and long lens with a mounting foot. The generic plate that comes with the tripod will do the job. A somewhat more secure solution is to get an Arca Swiss style mounting plate custom designed specifically for your camera. Two prominent manufacturers of custom mounting plates are Really Right Stuff and Kirk. My experience has been with RRS. The plates are not cheap but rock solid. I hope this helps b

Q: 5. Can I connect a Varazoom (chickenfoot) panhead to it? I need it for video. Need smooth panning and up and down for live theatre performances.

A: If the Varazoom has a normal screw type adapter, then it should fit with no problem. Just remember the tripod you was should have five (5) the weight capacity as the items it's supporting.

Q: 6. 3/8" thread compatible?

A: Yes.

Q: 7. Is resistant to water and dust

A: Yes. MeFOTO states their twist lock legs and anti-rotation system provides weather and dust-resistance, and the foam grip on the monopod leg is designed to be beneficial in extreme temperatures when the other tripod legs may heat or freeze from extreme temperatures. It would be recommended for use in a myriad of weather and photographic situations.

Q: 8. How far out from the bracket mounting points do the handles of each side stick out?

A: Approximately 5-6"

Q: 9. Can this drive be set up on an portable stand system with a telescopic crossbar? How does the drive connect to this type of system? Would any other parts be required?

A: This drive can be used on a portable stand, but only with the Manfrotto Background Baby Hooks (Black), B&H # MA081. This would allow you to drive a paper roll up or down using the cardboard core as the connection points for the drive itself. https://bhpho.to/39tWM0R

Q: 10. I have a Manfrotto 755MF3 tripod with a 804RC2 ball head. Will my ball head (804RC2) fit on this travel tripod? Also, will this tripod support Nikon D500 with Sigma 17-35mm f/1.8 Art Lens?

A: The MeFoto legs will work with the 804RC2 when its own head is removed. Due to the larger size of the 804RC2 pan-tilt head, it is likely that this combination will not fold into its smallest size with that head attached. The combination of the GlobeTrotter legs, 804RC2, D500, and Sigma 18-35 f/1.8 lens will work very well. In our estimation, the next best upgrade for you would be to either use the head that comes with the GlobeTrotter or to consider the Manfrotto Xpro 3-way pan-tilt head.
