The Tram TR50 is a professional omnidirectional electret condenser lavalier microphone with a low-profile design resulting in low visibility. The TR50 features a frequency response that enhances the character and frequencies associated with speech.

The polar pattern provides a generous pick up response at the direct and off-axis sections of the microphone capsule. This enhances sensitivity and minimizes noise associated with movement, wind and clothing contact. The TR50 features minimum sound coloration and is available in a variety of connectors for direct integration with wireless transmitters. This version features the TA5-pin connection for use with Audio-Technica and Lectrosonics wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. The negative review comments on strap comfort - anyone else find this an issue? Many thanks

A: Most customers find the straps on the Lowepro Whistler Backpack 350 AW II (Gray) to be comfortable.

Q: 2. Does this recorder support "plug in" mic power? (aka 3 volt or 5 volt "bias")

A: Yes, the F2 does supply plug-in power for condenser microphones. Just be aware that the input on the F2 uses a 3.5mm TRS locking connector like the one used on the Sennheiser ME 2-II Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone (B&H #SEME2II).

Q: 3. It sounds like multiple people have had their camera dislodge from the side holster when stooping or kneeling. Has anyone come up with an effective work-around (e.g., a safety tethering strap)?

A: No, Cotton Carrier has not made a tether that works with the Cotton Carrier CCS G3 Harness-2 (Realtree Xtra Camo)

Q: 4. Can this bag be configured to hold a gripped XT3 with Fuji 150-600mm attached? With room for more lenses?

A: Yes, the Lowepro Whistler Backpack 350 AW II can hold the FUJIFILM X-T3 Mirrorless Camera with the FUJIFILM XF 150-600mm f/5.6-8 R LM OIS WR Lens attached with room for a couple of small - medium lenses.

Q: 5. How do a DSLR full-frame kit w/ attached 70-200mm f/2.8 lens fit? How well does it fit sideways and/or vertical? Any pictures?

A: The Lowepro FreeLine Backpack 350 AW (Heather Gray) will accept a full frame DSLR and 70-200 2.8 attached. It won't fit sideways. You will need to place it vertically. You will need to bend two of the dividers to place it vertically. Unfortunately, we do not have a photo showing that.

Q: 6. Is there a place for a water bladder?

A: Officially no, you could certainly fit one in the very back of the bag.

Q: 7. Can you take out the entire camera insert?

A: There is no "entire camera insert" per se, but rather the inner bag is lined with touch-fastener material that the multiple padded inserts fasten to. You can remove all these pads from the bag, but you do not get fully-separated insert to use with other bags, if that was your intention.

Q: 8. Can it hold a 16" Macbook Pro?

A: The laptop compartment for this bag is 9.8" x 0.6" x 15.7"

Q: 9. Is the NP-F980 compatible?

A: It will be too large for it.

Q: 10. What are the differences between the mark ii and the mark i versions of this backpack?

A: Hi Jackson - If you watch the video for this backpack (look at the gallery of images above), it goes over all of this for you. Version II is approx 15% lighter, improved buckle placement, Nylon 66 material on the front, expansion zipper around the base, more aggressive harness shape (for active users), tighter waist belt, simplified the front, etc..
