A: The audio outputs on this device through RCA. You would just need basic RCA Male to Male cables.

A: The LUV-250 video and audio transmitter uses the 2.4GHZ channel which is an open radio channel commonly used for many wireless devices. There is no need to have a special permit to make use of this channel in the US.

A: This antenna is SMA male connector and it comes with a 10ft. wire.

Q: 9. Can I use it with a Nikon D3400 as a camera trap

A: Unfortunately, the D3400 lacks a remote shutter connection, which is required in order to use this remote set up.

Q: 10. Can this system be battery powered for use in the field? For example on a cart?

A: no it will no work with Dc power so it would need to be plugged into an AC power source. if there isn't an AC source available in the field then it would not be possible to power this unit.

Great price and easy to use. Didn't even need to read the manual.

Very capable part 15 FM transmitter. Excelleny quality audio. Nice feature to be able to cut into main audio with an XLR Mike. Supplied antenna is good for about 100 feet. Used a 1/2 wave whip antenna and got at least 300 feet of range with a good clear signal. Will achieve some building penetration on a wood or masonry structure, but signal gets a little fuzzy.
