The Tiffen 2 x 2" Glimmerglass 2 Filter is a beauty filter whose function is two-fold: in addition to modifying the appearance of the image itself, it also features a sparkling appearance when viewed from the front, instilling more confidence in the model. The filter itself helps to soften skin details, blemishes, and wrinkles. It also produces glowing highlights and a mild reduction in contrast for a more ethereal appearance. The 2 density provides more softening than the 1, but less than the 3.

This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 2 x 2" / 50.8 x 50.8mm.

Q: 1. Will this work with my Nikon D7200?

A: Yes, the Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD Lens for Nikon, B&H # TA1506005N, is compatible for use on the Nikon D7200 DSLR camera.

Q: 2. Has anyone used this on a d810? If so can you share your experience about it and if possible can you also share some images taken with this lens and a 810 body?

A: It works well with the d810... it is a great lens and even better when you consider the price. It does not work with any of the Nikon teleconverters but at 600mm it already is limited to f6.3 For examples of quality of lens see look-up FLICKR 150-600mm TAMRON group

Q: 3. How heavy is it?

A: Weight 4.30 lb / 1.95 kg

Q: 4. This lens works with Nikon D3100?

Q: 7. Can only the telescope be purchased without the kit?

A: The Celestron NexStar Evolution 8 203mm f/10 Schmidt-Cassegrain GoTo Telescope BH #CENSE8 • MFR #12091 https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1046796-REG/celestron_12091_nexstar_evolution_8_telescope.html Is only sold as a complete set; Optical Tube Assembly (OTA) Mount Goto handheld computer Tripod

Q: 8. Does this telescope and mount stay fixed on the celestial object for astrophotography, similarto equatorial mount ?

A: Yes, this mount does track celestial objects and does a pretty good job. The problem is that it is an altitude-azimuth mount and so there is an effect called "field rotation" that will always be present. This is worse directly overhead and gets less pronounced as you go towards the horizon, but is always there. You can get around this somewhat by taking lots of short exposures and stacking them with software. I can take up to 15-second individual exposures and have combined these to make the equivalent of up to a 1-hour long exposure. Overall though, this is not a serious astrophotography mount in its stock form. You can buy a "wedge" to turn it into an equatorial mount and I've heard that works pretty well. I like the Evolution mount for its ease of use and setup. It's a great star party mount and I've had a lot of fun doing casual astrophotography of the brighter astronomical objects like the Messier Catalog. But if you want to take magazine quality images of an obscure nebula, you'll need an equatorial mount.

Q: 9. Trying to decide which telephoto lens under $1500 to buy for my canon? I have a 24-105mm lens which is a pretty good all around lens but I want something with a little more reach to hopefully take on a safari one day and an Alaska trip. Ideally I would love a canon ef 100-400 but that's a little out of my price range. Is the Tamron 150-600 the way to go?

A: Rafael,Sorry about the late response.I use my Tamron 150-600 almost all the time. I usually set my mm at about 590 mm and get my best results at f7.1 with as much natural light as possible. When shooting eagles along a river I use a Tripod with a gimbal but also shoot a lot handheld while hiking with higher shutter speeds.Regards,Tom

Q: 10. I can't get my lense to focus manually on my XT10 body. I turn the focus ring and nothing happens.Auto focus works fantastic though.

A: Hi Anthony-I have the X-T1, not the XT10 so this may not be relevant but as you look at the front of the camera, to the lower right of the lensthere is a wheel marked S, C, M. On the X-T1 that is the focus control-S=single shot focus, C=continual or tracking focus and M is manual focus. This may or may not track to the XT10
