The Tiffen 4 x 5.65" CC05R Red Filter is a color compensating (or color correction) filter for use when making color balance adjustments. It can be used to alter the color balance of a scene by placing in front of a light source or the lens of your camera. It can also be used to apply color corrections when used in the darkroom with an enlarger or to help pre-visualize color adjustments when viewing prints.

Red is the opposite of cyan and can be used to reduce cyan tones or casts within a scene or print. This red CC05 is less dense than a CC10 filter, and requires a 0.3 stop compensation for normal exposure results.

Tiffen filters are made using ColorCore technology; a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 4 x 5.65" / 101.6 x 143.5mm.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. is the ball head swiss-Arca compatible?

A: Yes, the ball head included with the MeFOTO GlobeTrotter Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod is compatible with Arca-type quick release plates.

Q: 2. I am now on my second Black MeFoto Carbon fiber Globetrotter. I returned the first one because the center column would not raise and lower smoothly without the lock ring loosened almost completely. It would bind and stick. The replacement they sent is a bit better. The legs work smoothly. Has anyone else experienced this with the carbon Fiber Globetrotter?

A: I have not experienced any issues with my black carbon fiber tripod. Everything functions as expected. I am very happy with my purchase.

Q: 3. Is this tripod stable enough to support a Canon 5DMKIII + Canon battery grip + Canon 70-200mm F2.8 II with its legs fully extended? My shooting scenarios can range from controlled studio environments to gusty mountaintops, both short and long exposure.

A: Justin, I have used this tripod on travels with the exact gear in your question, as well as with a Canon 100-400L with extender on safaris. It works great for being a light but strong tripod and it's quality for the price is hard to beat. It is a great travel tripod becuase of the size and weight and it covers 90% of my needs. If I need something with more strength and ruggedness, I reach for my Manfrotto but I wouldn't want to carry it too far. However, If you are going to be doing a lot mountain wilderness shoots, in gusty winds, i would look at a stronger, sturdier tripod from Manfrotto or others bult for these rugged conditions, with more leg adjustments but with a much higher cost as well.

Q: 4. I have a Canon 5D Mark 2. Will this tripod support it? Also is there a L Bracket that can be used with this tripod? or will it need another type of ball head to use one? Sorry, i am a total newbie to more professional tripods. thankyou

A: Yes, it will support it well. The tripod has an Arca-Swiss type ballhead/clamp, so any L-bracket that is Arca-Swiss compatible will work.

Q: 5. Why is the carbon fiber Titanium colored option cheaper in price?

A: Its normally the same price. Not sure why its being sold at a lower price.

Q: 6. What size is the HDMI, full, mini, or micro?

A: Full

Q: 7. Does this work with the 140”x105 Savage paper backdrop? Thanks

A: It is not recommended to use these drives on rolls larger than 107".

Q: 8. Can the monitor output 1080i/p if the input is 4K?

A: Yes.

Q: 9. Are there only the two leg angles?

A: I am not sure of your question. There are pull out angle blocks at the top of each leg. When you pull these out the legs will completely flip up to cover center column. By raising the center column and flipping the legs over the column it will reduce the length of the tripod for traveling. But after seeing some tripod photos on B&H I how understand your question, and yes there are only two legs angles available to you.

Q: 10. I've searched web but can't find the leg diameters, does anyone know?

A: MeFOTO states the GlobeTrotter leg diameters are; 16, 19, 23, 27 and 29mm.
