The RF-Video HD-1000/10 is a fully synthesized audio/video transmitter for UHF frequencies from 25MHz-1000MHz. It outputs 10W RF power and offers a 10-15 mile transmission range in resolutions up to 1080i. The ${Model} is sold exclusively to government and military agencies. Video inputs consist of VGA, HDMI, Component, and Composite. Uncompressed signals are encoded in MPEG2.

RF-Video recommends an Omni Dipole antenna, not included.

A: The SE-1200 requires all the cameras to be the same resolution in order to work properly. So if you set SE-1200 to 720p, then the cameras need to be 720p, etc. However, it does have framesync. Side note, the HDMI will scale up to 1080p on the output, but if you use HDSDI, then you it will scale back to 1080i so maybe that is what you mean by scaling.Craig

A: Yes this is supposed to provide stable video transmission. It has a transmission range up to 600 ft line-of-sight.

I use this primarily for sending video from a camera operator with a steadicam rig to a tomos monitor/recorder. I also have used for feeding HDMI from a laptop to a projector in crowded public meeting setting. Worked great. Not one glitch. 5

Shot indoors in a house through multiple rooms and had no issues. Battery lasts well and everything syncs and connects right out of the box. 5

I'm really liking this system. So far, I've pushed the distance out to a football field, with no signal loss, also used it out on the water , filming boat to boat, and inside a manufacturing facility. It didn't drop signal or get sketchy at all. The fact that the receivers have no antennae is a big plus. I put one RX on a small monitor for director handset and I don't have to worry about the antennae get broken off by someone less careful than I. Another great feature, that I use a lot, is loop out sdi on the transmitter and 2 sdi out on the receiver. There are also multiple mounting points on the bottom and face of the receiver, for various mounting configurations. The clover antennae on the transmitter look cool too, and are less likely to get broken. 5
