A: You will need a 46mm to 67/72/77/82mm step-up ring to make your lens compatible with this matte box.

A: Most of the lenses in that series will work. However, there are a few wide angle lenses that have an outer diameter larger than 95mm. If the outer diameter is larger than 95mm, it will not be compatible with the Tiltaing Mini Matte Box.

Q: 8. Would there be a problem using this Matte Box on the Sony fe16-35mm zoom lens? There is a small inner barrel extention at the 16mm end of the zoom range... would the weight of the Matte Box potetially cause damage to the zoom barrel? Thanks

A: There should be no issues using this with either the Sony 16-35mm F/2.8 or F/4. The F/2.8 has an 82mm filter thread and the F4 has a 72mm thread, which are both adapters that come in the box with this product.

Q: 9. Will this support 4x4 filters?

A: I just tried a 4x4 filter and it technically fit, but it doesn't cover the whole area so it only works at roughly the full-frame equivalent of 35mm and longer. And even then, there could be issues. There's a little dimple on the adapter rings so you can't just move the matte box/filter closer to the lens.

Q: 10. Is it possible to add flags in addition to the eyebrow?

A: Unfortunately Tilta is not listing that capability at this moment.
