This little gem is a pure joy to use. The only way I can describe the change in the photo taking process that this accessory brings about when using a pod is freedom. It actually feels strange at first not needing to be glued to the camera, but able to walk away and shoot from a distance. I'll leave it to you the reader to imagine the different situations where that would prove to be an advantage. Photographing wildlife is probably the most obvious. Another way I use it is in shooting seascapes where I can go sit in a comfortable spot and pick my shots as the breakers roll in. The only learning curve you might possibly need to experience is remembering to turn both members off when you're finished. Either that or carry a good supply of AAAs. Oh yeah, and dont forget to close off your viewfinder. 5
