This 40.5mm #550/040 Orange MRC Basic Filter from B+W can be used to increase image contrast using black-and-white film. When using this filter, green, blue, and violet-colored subjects are reproduced in darker shades of gray than if a filter was not used. Simultaneously, yellow, orange, and red subjects are rendered in lighter shades of gray. Landscape and architectural photos show an increased, almost graphic contrast, while a cloudy sky may already appear dramatic. When shooting landscapes, shades of green foliage can be more differentiated, and this filter can also minimize the haze caused by the bluish cast of daylight. When used for shooting portraits, the appearance of freckles and skin blemishes will be reduced.

A: I/We use two of these... one with 107 and one with 140. The plastic chains are an issue on both. The chains are not very robust. With that said, I'm happy with the product over all. I would repurchase.

Q: 3. What is the maximum radius of a leg - i.e. what's the distance from the center of the dolly to the leg attachment point?

A: The maximum diameter shown in the Specifications tab is 44.9 so if the radius is half of the diameter, that would mean 22.45

Q: 4. What kind of accessories do I buy to turn this into a backdrop support..is that even possible

A: Yes the autopoles can be used as a backdrop support. You need to buy 2 Impact Super Clamps w/ Ratchet Handle (IMCC106R) and one package (which contains a pair) or the Impact U-Hook Cross Bar Holders (IMVPAUP). You will also need to buy a cross bar that exceeds the width of the backdrop. The cross bar will rest on the two U-Hooks.

Q: 5. What needs to be purchased with this system? I'm new and have never had a studio setup.

Q: 6. What is the difference between this system and the Manfrotto system?

A: The differences between this background support and the Manfrotto 2961D has to do with the locking mechanism on each pole. The Manfrotto Deluxe Autopole would unlock by pulling the handle downward then pulling it towards you. With the Impact Varipole, you have the same control but with an added lock around the handle for extra security. Otherwise they offer similar height and weight, with the Impact Varipole being more budget friendly.

Q: 7. How much width is needed for this to work with 107'' Paper? we have 138 inches but I Presume the varidrives also require space?

A: About a inch bigger than the paper.

Q: 8. Can you tell me the maximum weight this tripod will handle?Thanks!

Q: 9. Would this work on carpet?

A: Impact Deluxe Varipoles need to be on a hard surface. It is not safe to use it on a carpet.

Every time I looked it was either too costly for the replacement labels or it did not fit on the space I had designated it to go on my desk. This labelwriter hit both nails on the head. This labelwriter has a small footprint but still offers all the same features I needed from the larger ones. The labelwriter is quiet and functions effortlessly with my work laptop. This labelwriter saves me so much time as I am used to having to handwrite everything! Dymo is a brand I trust, I love even their basic handheld label makers I use that to label all my items in the pantry. The refills on the labels are also very reasonable I needed that as I will be using this labelwriter on a almost daily basis. I would recommend this to anyone in the market for a easy to use, pc friendly label writer. I would not recommend it for commercial or larger business use but this works great for my small business! 5
