This 37mm 695/092 IR Dark Red MRC Basic Filter from B+W is a moderate strength infrared filter that does not block the complete visible light spectrum, enabling image recording with visible and invisible IR components. The black and white contrasts are not as high as those produced by black-red IR filters.

The filter is made of precision German optical glass, each side featuring 7 layers of Broadband coating for high contrast pictures with minimal residual reflection and uniform light transmission. The brass filter ring features an enhanced knurling pattern for improved grip and a special functional coating for smooth mounting and dismounting. The ring features front threads, and its low-profile design makes it suitable for use with wide-angle lenses.

Q: 1. Can I REMOTELY trigger both the shutter on my Canon R6 and fire the Canon 430EXII flash in Manual mode?

A: As long as you have a separate method to trigger your camera, you will trigger a flash setup using the Vello FWIRC-C FreeWave IR TTL Flash Commander for Canon. The Shutter release remote triggers the camera and the radio trigger in the hot shoe of the Canon R6 will fire any flashes that it has been connected to via the line of site ETTL communication method.

Q: 2. I have a canon flash 600 would this work on it

A: Yes this flash commander can fire a Canon 600EX RT in optical slave mode.

Q: 3. Is it compatible with the KP camera?

Q: 5. Can this unit be used on a Nikon D850 to trigger multiple SB600'd off camera?

Q: 7. Does it work with Canon Speedlite 550EX Flash?

A: Yes it does! Works great! Simply set 550EX to slave setting and fire away. I have used it with my 550

Q: 8. Does this work with the Nikon SB 28 DX?Do I have to attach anything to the Nikon Flash or does it receive signals from the remote automatically by IR out of the box?Do I understand it correctly that the unit will control my flash remotely including power control, TTL and also in Manual mode?

A: Since the Nikon SB-28DX is not compatible with the Nikon CLS system nor does it use i-TTL communication, it would not be compatible with this product. When using the product with a Nikon i-TTL compatible flash, you would need to set the flash to remote mode in order to control the power, TTL, and to use the flash in manual mode.

Q: 9. Can each group (A, B, C) be independently set to different channels? Example: Group A to Channel 4, and Group B to Channel 2 at the same time.

A: You may set the desired group and the channel individually on the Nikon wireless infrared i-TTL flash(es) you own. Each flash does not have to be on the same group/channel. However, while you may also set different groups and channels on the Vello FWIRC-N FreeWave IR TTL Flash Commander for Nikon, you may only use one channel at a time on the Commander. As such, regardless of their group setting, if the off-camera flashes are not set to the channel actively set on the Vello FWIRC-N FreeWave IR TTL Flash Commander, then they will not fire.
