Like their name implies, the stone-colored Alpha Noise-Canceling Wireless Over-Ear Headphones from Cleer have been designed to deliver a clear audio experience, no matter where you might be. It does this using adaptive active noise cancellation technology, which takes in ambient noise and eliminates it, leaving you with only your music or other audio entertainment. The adaptive part is the ability of the Alpha to automatically adjust to the noise levels around you as you move through your day.

The concept of clear audio doesn't end with what you listen to. Cleer also engineered the Alpha headphones to make sure the audio you produce is clear as well. Qualcomm cVc (clear voice capture) dual beamforming microphones are integrated into the Alpha over-ear headphones, and work to focus on picking up your voice while reducing surrounding noise from being captured. If the battery is empty, or you want to listen to high-resolution files on your device, a 3.5mm jack provides an additional listening option.

The 40mm ironless drivers in each earcup are capable of producing hi-res quality audio. This is further enhanced by Dirac Virtuo spatial audio technology to make you feel like you're in the center of a performance, simulating a much wider audio soundstage. To help make sure the audio source matches what the Alpha can product, Cleer equipped the headphones with support for Bluetooth 5.1 and Qualcomm aptX Adaptive technology on supported devices.

As immersive and enjoyable as active noise cancellation is, sometimes you need to interact with the outside world. Activate Ambient Mode and surrounding sound will be let back in. Within the Cleer+ app, you can adjust the levels of ambient noise and noise cancellation the Alpha changes to when in this mode.

When Ambient Mode isn't enough and you need to immediately focus on having a conversation or listen to an important announcement, just cover the right earcup with your hand. Within a second, Conversation Mode will be engaged. In this mode, your audio volume level is reduced to 10% and 100% of ambient sound is allowed back in. You'll conveniently remain in this mode until you hold your hand over the right earcup again to turn it off.

If you do take off your headset, Alpha will sense it and automatically pause audio playback. Alpha can also detect when you put them back on and will automatically restart playback when you do.

The mobile app is your Alpha control center, allowing you to fully customize your audio experience. You can use it to customize EQ settings, manage device controls, adjust noise cancellation/ambient sound levels, engage Dirac Spatial Audio, view remaining battery power, receive firmware updates, and more.

Quick charge for 10 minutes to get up to 4 hours of playback
Comfortable, soft, padded earcups and headband
3.5mm Hi-Res Audio-compatible jack for use with non-wireless sources

Q: 1. What is the outer diameter of the speed ring?

A: Raya Speed Ring for SDR-400 Alpha Monolight outer diameter is 6.5''.

Q: 2. Does it fit a Fujifilm XF 55-200 mm without the hood? Does it fit with the hood, obviously reversed?

A: The Ruggard Fold-Over Neoprene Lens Pouch (3.5 x 4.5", Black) will work with the FUJIFILM XF 55-200mm f/3.5-4.8 R LM OIS Lens. But with the hood in reverse, not out.

Q: 3. I recently purchased this to attach my camera to a c-stand for overhead product shots. I need something to screw the head into that would fit on the c-stand arm. Does anyone know what I could use?

A: You would need to have a pin like this on the C stand knuckle: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/124750-REG/Avenger_E250_E250_Long_Double_Stud.html Then on that pin you can place a ball head adapter like this: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1244788-REG/kupo_kg014212_baby_ball_head_adapter.html On the Kupo ball head adapter you can place the Manfrotto 234RC Tilt Head for Monopods, with Quick Release

Q: 4. Hi! can I use a Profoto speedring for this just to go with mi Profoto strobes? thanks!

A: No. you can't use a Profoto speedring. To attach to your Profoto strobes you need B&H # SMPROFOTOAD

Q: 5. What monopod head will support a sigma 150-600 mm lens?

A: The Manfrotto 234RC Tilt Head can support up to 5.5 pounds and the Sigma lens only weighs about 4 pounds. Your camera would probably add more than 1.5 pounds so you might technically exceed the maximum load capacity but this head should still be fine. If you are concerned about exceeding the load capacity, you could consider using a ball head such as this instead: https://bhpho.to/2Jjd7ta

Q: 6. What is the diameter of the hole where you will insert the monolight?

A: The outside diameter of the ring it's 98 mm and the inside diameter it's 95 mm. I just notice in the last photoshot than the ring gets a lot of heat from 150w modeling lamp bulb of the raya 400w strobes, consider that, my solution to the problem was just get bulb extenders connections to put distance between the ring and the bulb. Regards

Q: 7. Will this fit the A7R2 and the A6400 ?

A: The Gitzo Quick Release Plate for Sony Alpha Cameras is designed for use with Sony's slightly larger a7-series and a9 Mirrorless Digital Camera. It may fit the a6400, but do note the a6400 has a smaller body size and the tripod socket is not in the same place as on the larger cameras, so tne Anti-Twist flange may not align properly, but it should fit on the camera. It will work on the Sony Alpha a7R II Mirrorless Digital Camera.

Q: 8. Does anyone know if this fits a bento a38 monopod?

A: I have that combination and they work together. Its a 3/8 screw and reciever.

Q: 9. Can I adapt this to go on a tripod. The opening threads on bottom of head are much larger than receiving thread on tripod plate. Is there some kind of adapter?

A: The receiving end of this head is a 3/8"-16, which is the standard tripod mounting screw size. You would mount this directly to the tripod's legs rather than to a quick release plate or another head. Remove the tripod's current head first. There is an adapter you can use (called a bushing) but not for use as you described.

Q: 10. Witch one fit for the nikon 24-28 mm ED G and the Nikon 20 mm ?

A: Assuming that you have both lenses and there are dimensions listed for these lens pouches, you should be able to get answers easily. Good luck!
