Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can this fit 2 profoto D1 Airs and a camera with 2 lenses?

A: This case will not fit all of that

Q: 2. will a sony fs7 fit?

A: This would just barely fit your camera. It would be a super tight fit. I would recommend going with the Pelican 1564 Waterproof 1560 Case with Dividers instead. Website link: http://bhpho.to/1k6QtFb

Q: 3. Can you add pick and pluck foam?

A: Yes you can here it is. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/330234-REG/Pelican_1510_400_000_1511_Four_Piece_Foam.html

Q: 4. Going to pick up this case to use with D700w/grip 70-200,24-70 1 SB800 second Nikon Body , 3100, if possible I'd like to fit my two GoPro's, housings, accessories a small gorilla pod... For this particular trip( Alaska) I will also have one of my LowePro BP which I will carry my MBP. So my question is, Dividers or foam? Thoughts on adding the 1519 to either, does it work best with dividers or foam. Thanks in advance...

A: I have the devices which adds a lot of flexibility and let me optimize the storage. I. Have all my underwater fear in the case, housing, 2 strobes, video light, 3 different ports (2 domes, 1 macro port) plus the lenses, and all my chargers and batteries.i also have the storage pockets on the lid which gives extra spaces for cords, chargers etc.. I use the case on dive boats and its held up great after 10 international trips and weeks on a boat. Only issue is with all your gear it can get. A bit heavy . This roller case replaced my Lowe pro 1500.Hope this helps

Q: 5. Will this case hold a DNP DS40 and the accessories for it or am i looking for another pelican case?

A: You may want to go with the Pelican 1560 case for a better fit.

Q: 6. Is the slide out handle long enough for a tall person? It's a pain hunching over while bulling a carry-on case. About the same as your run-of-the-mill roller bag? thx

A: Yes

Q: 7. what is the difference between the 1510 and ba22?

A: I have the 1510 and it is wonderful. I got the Tekpak divider system which is the best I have ever seen. The BA22 is optimized as an airline carryon. The latches, for example, are recessed so they don't stick out and get in the way. It has a pressure equalization valve to keep the pressure inside the same as cabin pressure. Etc.

Q: 8. Does this come with the Kaizen or the Pick & Pluck foam?

A: The one I ordered came with pick and pluck foam.

Q: 9. Anyone knows if the interior depth of 7.6 includes all the protective padding or are those 7.6 of free space? I have a light that is exactly 7.6 tall and don't know if it will fit or if I need to take all the padding out in order for it to fit (which will defeat the purpose of getting this case)Thanks!

A: The light won't fit once you remove the thicker portion of the padding.

Q: 10. Will this case hold two DSLR cameras with lenses (Canon 6D w/24-105mm & Sony a77 w/18-135mm),both cameras with vert. grips also?

A: Absolutely, this case with the pick out foam is great! Super deep, and easy to make shapes that contour to different heights of a camera. I use mine for a BlackMagic CC 2.5k (which is much larger than a dslr), with a big Bescor battery pack and chargers. A Canon 7d with batteries and charger, a Tascam dr-60 (audio recorder), 50mm prime, 24-105mm (both Canon), a small on cam light with batteries, and all my cards for both cameras.Really a necessity in the video/photo field. I was told when I bought mine that i could kick it down a flight of stairs filled with gear, without worrying about anything breaking. Mine for three years looks brand new after taking a whole heap of beating!
