The first version I received had a curved base. Every time I put this on my dash, it pulled itself off because it was cupped. I emailed them and they tried to resolve it the firs time and then sent out a new version the second time. The second time, the base was completely flat. It works perfectly!! As a business owner, I'm not mad that the first version didn't work. I know that sometimes stuff isn't 100%. To me, it's how you handle the problem. Peak Design stood up and handled it perfectly!! 5
