Looking for purely evil and haunting sound effects packed with shock, fright, and terror? Check out the BOOM Library CINEMATIC HORROR Construction Kit, a dreadfully intense sound effects library guaranteed to make your audience tremble.

The library was coproduced with sound designer Richard Adrian, whose reference list includes films such as The Hills Have Eyes, Gothika, Thir13en Ghosts, Ghost Ship, House Of Wax, Haunted Hill, Mirrors, etc. Besides these horror stories, Adrian also worked on other great productions such as 8 Mile, Matrix Reloaded, Matrix Revolutions, Æon Flux, Swordfish, Four Brothers, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and many more. The 24-bit / 96 kHz WAV files are compatible with Windows and Mac.

A glance at the content list of the Cinematic Horror Construction Kit suggests a dreadful future: ambient, drones (organic and synthetic), human sounds, impacts (e.g. guitar distortion, creepy clangs, smacks, and thuds), metal impacts, metal squeaks and scrapes, rises, instruments (e.g. piano, violin, wine glass), metal scrapes, metal squeaks, vocals and vocal choirs (breaths, laughs, exhales, screams—male and female), wood creaks, groans, and more—all ready to follow your wicked phantasies and effects.

The Cinematic Horror Construction Kit is not for those with a sensitive nature; it's for those who dare to play music that embodies complex facets of primeval fear. If you want to create something unique—the next terrifying attack, an evil twist, a horrifying moment of pure despair—this library should be your toolkit.

Search by the following keywords: Horror, Creaks, Drones, Heartbeats, Dark, Metallic, Blasting, Tension, ghosts, Groaning, Nightmares, Distorted, Haunting Distartion, Cowbells, Melancholia, Creatures, Groans, Cold, Pulses, Humming, Rumbling, Spooky, Crazy Screechy Impacts, Metal, Doors, Slams, Chains, Heavy, Instruments, Ringing, Cries, Breath, Exhale, Squeaks, Pulsing, Swirling, Whispers, Whooshes, Shocker, Death

A construction kit generally contains thousands of sounds, recorded as raw as possible and only as processed as needed for a specific topic, perfectly organized to make it easy for you to use them. Carefully selected, those sounds give you all the freedom and possibilities you need to design your own sounds within the given topic from scratch. For some topics, it is difficult to provide recordings only, so you will find some preprocessed or synthesizer-based sounds in those collections as well—but still only basic material, since we don't want to offer it compressed to the maximum or similarly mutated. After all, the Construction Kit serves as such for ourselves, namely in the following process of creating the respective Designed collection.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What's the best way to use this unit with 2 cameras coming in, with a computer input that will be running a PowerPoint presentation? Will this switcher scale the incoming computer signal? Thanks in advance!

A: This product has two dedicated 3G SDI inputs, a third channel input that supports 3G SDI or HDMI and a fourth channel HDMI input that also includes scaling. Depending on the outputs your camera offer you can have both of them going into the SDI inputs or have one use the SDI input and one using the HDMI input ( third channel ).

Q: 2. Is the case small enough to be carry-on luggage?

A: Yes, the ZEISS Loxia Transport Case is quite compact and easily fits into the overhead luggage compartment.

Q: 3. What is the difference between the "bag only" and "photo bundle" option?

A: The non photo bundle is empty. The photo bundle version, WANDRD PRVKE 41L Photo Bundle (Black) comes with unlike the other with, WANDRD Waist Strap (Black) WANDRD Essential Deep Camera Cube (Black) WANDRD Accessory Straps (Black)

Q: 4. Is there a PAL version of this switch? If so, could I still use a NTSC based camera as an input?

A: Sadly I have no idea, but I love the switcher.

Q: 5. Could the Letus Helix Jr power this? Can the control wheel be powered separately or does it have to go into the base station?

A: The control wheel must be connected to the base station so that not only is it powered but it's signal can be passed to the focus motor. (which also gets it's power and signal from the base station.) As to working on the Helix, we believe that there is power available for the base station. If you wish to find out which cable, please call, chat or email us at B&H. Phone 800.606.6969 or 212.444.6615 E-Mail provideo@a href= http://bhphoto.com target= _blank bhphoto.com/a

Q: 6. Will the V1 accept a HDMI signal from Panasonic HDC-TM700? I see 35' as a length for HDMI cables I tried on the Black Magic and it would't accept any HDMI signal from the Panasonic TM700 over 12'. That being the case I returned it since it didn't state that condition.

A: Generally speaking, an HDMI signal is not strong and weakens exponentially with distance traveled. I would blame the distance and the type of HDMI cable before any switcher. If indeed the switcher is not accepting the signal another does, I would still suggest getting a better cable. HDMI signals peter out 30-35' so if you are anywhere near that, you need HDMI cabling with booster circuitry. Please follow the link for a selection of longer distance HDMI cables. http://bhpho.to/1LRl5rv

Q: 7. I already possess the Loxia 35mm lens. Could you minus this lens from the package of the 5 lenses plus the Zeiss Loxia Transport Case?

A: Unfortunately, this is not possible. The Loxia 5-Lens Bundle is a fixed kit and cannot be modified. The other items are available individually and you can discuss creating a custom 4-lens bundle with the transport case and gears by contacting a B&H sales representative.

Q: 8. Can I connect Shure BLX14/CVL Lavalier Wireless Microphone System directly into Roland V-1HD using XLR to minijack cable, will it work or should I get small audio mixer separately? Thanks

A: It's better to run a mixing board that's what I use and it works great

Q: 9. Will the device take 60p frame rate inputs?

A: Yes it will. The Roland V-1HD accepts frame rates of 59.94 fps at 1080p, 1080i and 720p resolutions.

Q: 10. Can this rig work with the Ronin M?

A: Yes the Redrock Micro microRemote Handheld is so compact it is designed to work on stabilizers as well as conventional set-up's.
