Its output is digitally regulated for consistent beam intensity throughout the battery charge, with a low output of 29 lumens for reading or tasks and a high of 1072 lumens for search operations. The easy-to-use body switch allows for momentary or constant-on activation, plus access to the disorienting strobe and flashing signal modes. It also allows you to program the available output modes and their order to tailor the light's performance to your personal preferences.

The Xenoy polymer housing is temperature, corrosion, and impact resistant to give the light a long life of dependable service and is IPX6 rated for water and rain resistance. The handle has a deeply molded nonslip grid pattern and an octagonal anti-roll shape. Additionally, the housing features heat-dissipating fins on the aluminum head assembly for long-duration use without overheating. For added versatility in the field, the light will run on four C cell alkaline batteries if the included rechargeable battery discharges before your shift ends. With the alkaline batteries, the output and runtimes will be affected. The light fits securely into the included 110 VAC wall charger and charges the battery in the flashlight.

      A: This case would be extremely uncomfortable to have on your back. When loaded it's very heavy and there's no padding on the exterior. You should look at more of a backpack case if you want to have it on your shoulder.
