The supercardioid polar pattern yields tight frontal pickup with enhanced side rejection, helping to reduce unwanted off-axis sound and reflections.

The condenser capsule produces a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, ideal for crisp, detailed speech and vocals. The SR-BV4 features a shockmount with elastic bands that help to isolate the mic from vibrations and handling noise; the mount allows for quick and easy placement on any mic stand or boom arm. A: I've only used it with my Sennheiser 416 Shotgun Mic, but if you find the diameter of the Rode is the same then the answer yes. This is an EXCELLENT shock mount. I wouldn't have any other.

A: The InVision suspension mount has a 3/8" threaded base. You can use the WindTech CM-38 Photo Hot Shoe to 3/8"-16 Male Adapter (B&H # WICM38) to enable connection to a standard shoe mount.

Q: 7. Quick question, would this fit well with the Schoeps Colette CMC6 w/MK41 capsule?

A: I am using an older Sennheiser shotgun mic. Per the dimensions listed for each microphone here on B&H, I believe it will fit for you. If for some reason it is not, B&H has fabulous return policies where you shouldn't need to worry about returning the item. The mic clip spreads open manually and holds the mic firmly in place.

A: It is our opinion this is made of a non aluminium composite material.

A: It might be a little stiff for that short Neumann. This mount is intended for heavier/longer mic/windscreen units. I use it for a MKH-416 with super softie on the end of a boom pole. Excellent isolation. You might want to consider one of the INV series mounts from Rycote. I use the InVision INV-HG mkIII Microphone Suspension - Lyre Shockmount for the length & weight of your Neumann.
