A: Gary, This Lowepro can definitely be worn on a belt. I actually have it attached very securely to the waist belt on my Lowepro shoulder harness. My only suggestion is to be sure that the case and the lens that you might want to carry in it are not too heavy for just your waist belt. A: Yes you could. There are straps with Velcro on the back and you could use the tripod straps on a camera backpack to attach it. or you could use the side rings from the shoulder strap if you had another strap.
