This 2.5mm DC to LP-E6 Dummy Battery Cable from IndiPRO Tools is a 24", 7.2V regulated cable that lets you power various cameras and devices that use an LP-E6 battery. It is regulated to provide the requisite 7.2VDC at up to 2A. That is sufficient to equal the functionality of that battery. Users of the Canon EOS R5 C Mirrorless Cinema Camera (B&H # CAER5C) should keep in mind that it will not provide the higher voltage and wattage of the Canon DR-E6C DC Coupler for EOS R5 C (B&H# CADRE6C) that is required for full electronic lens control at frame rates above 30p in 8K, above 30p in 5.9K, or above 60p in 2.9K modes.

I purchased a couple of items including this cable straight from the IndiPRO Tools site and was not disappointed by the quality. Cable worked perfectly to power my monitor from my battery plate. The coil is long enough for a articulation on the monitor without causing too much tension and short enough to not get too in the way when monitor is close. I wanted to add a few last minute things to my order and it was not an issue thanks to their solid customer service. Will do more business with IndiPRO Tools in the future. 5

I meet the IndiPro Tool guys a few years ago at NAB in Las Vegas. I was in the market for batteries, back plates, etc. , and found IndiPro Tools. I thought I would give them a try because their prices were good and their reps a the show were very helpful. Their customer service has been fantastic. Thats not to say I have had problems with their products, but when I have questions about what battery I need, or what cables i need for new cameras, they are very responsive. This cable works very well. I have used them on monitors and my Canon 5D Mark II. I highly recommend IndiPro Tools products. 5
