The adapter reduces the focal length by 0.8 and multiplies the focal length by 0.8 based on the original, so the effective focal length becomes shorter and the shooting range is larger. Using the 0.8x adapter is similar to using these lenses on original cameras.

Using three groups of five optical lenses, f/2.8 is turned into f/2 so that the depth of field has more blur. For some lenses, using the 0.8x focal reducer improves the lens quality.
