Sandvik 14C28N is a martensitic stainless chromium steel with a chemistry optimized for high quality professional knife applications that put very high demands on edge sharpness, edge stability, and corrosion resistance. The 14C28N steel in this knife is intensively processed by RUIKE using quenching and cryogenic treatment, which features an ideal hardness of 58-60 HRC.

The handle is a blend of fiberglass and resin, giving the knife the ability to withstand intense forces, preventing scrapes and general abrasion.

A metal clip allows you to holster the knife to make it easier to carry and to protect it from wear and tear when it's not being used.

Q: 1. What is the length of the leg from the center of the pole, to where the wheel makes contact with the floor please? From the photos the folding legs don't look very long. Also what is the total weight? There is no info in the description

A: The leg is approximately 9.6" long and the stand Weight is 12.45 lb / 5.6 kg

Q: 2. Can this stand support a mini boom, with a 60" soft box on it? or am I better off with a baby roller?

A: Since this roller stand has Load Capacity of 26 lb / 12 kg, it will be fine. A sandbag is always recommended to secure the stand. Impact Filled Saddle Sandbag (20 lb, Black) B&H # IMSBFB20

Q: 3. Hi, Is this the whole stand or just the wheel base?

A: Yer gittin' the whole kitten caboodle!

Q: 4. can the 5/8 baby stud be removed?

A: Yes. There is a small roll pin that would need be to punched out.

Q: 5. Can I use a 3/8" Male to 5/8" Female Screw Adapter on this? My speaker is with a 3/8 hole.

A: The stud at the top of this stand is 5/8" male. You could use the Impact 5/8" Receptor to Long 3/8" Diameter Stud in this case. https://bhpho.to/3oSzRq6

Q: 6. What would be a good soft case to hold 2 of these stands with their wheels attached?

A: The Impact Folding Wheeled Base Stand (Black/Chrome-plated, 8.5') is about 38 inches folded and is around 7 inches wide. So, two of them is around 13-14 inches. The only soft case that might fit is, https://bhpho.to/44NQSD1.

A: This Impact stand can be used with a Einstein flash.

Q: 8. Regular sandbags on these legs touch the floor. Any recommendations? Thanks,

A: I've seen a type of sandbag that Velcros around a center column. Perhaps someone can point out the item code. Would that be strong enough for a large light frame/box leaning in one direction? In other words, is the center weight enough - and doesn't have to be on the wheel/arm opposite the direction it is leaning?

Q: 9. Is there additional cable clamps like the ones that is included in the Impact Folding Wheeled Base Stand?

A: We do not have the impact cable clips but we do have other brands. They will not fit on the all of the columns The columns on the Impact Folding Wheeled Base Stand (Black/Chrome-plated, 11') are, 1.38" / 35 mm 1.18" / 30 mm 0.98" / 25 mm 0.79" / 20 mm These are some options, https://bhpho.to/3nSS05m and https://bhpho.to/3PbrOhK

Great build quality, practical to use on-set because of wheels.

Works as promised... has nice thick trunk and feels relatively stable when holding top-heavy stuff.

I love the small footprint for tight spaces and B&H shipping is the best.

The ability to move your lights on wheels is a game changer. If you're going to add a C Stand arm you will need to add some sand bags as the weight distribution requires it. For most simple light set ups without a C Stand arm it's fantastic though and very reliable for indoor shoots

This is an excellent stand for film work on productions where ease of quick movement is a must. The wheels are strong and lock in place once the wheel locks are engaged for a safe and secure stand. Great tool for all production needs.

I use these type of stands extensively in Real Estate. Since I have to set up new shots every few minutes, over the course of a few hours, having my lights and cameras on these stands really takes a load off me, as I work alone. With tese stands, there is no need fo ran assistant. I have a several similar stands from Avenger. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/104601-REG/Avenger_A5033_A5033_Folding_Base_Wheeled.htmlThe Impact is lighter in weight, and feels a bit on the flimsy side, but so far has proven to operate just as well as the Avenger model. One of the things I like about the Impact over the Avenger model is the ability to easily replace wheels or wheel assemblies, as there are times I've forgotten to release the brakes, and end up with a flat spot on the tires (for lack of a better word). With the Avenger, you have to spend $ to get a new set of wheels! That is ridiculous! OH! And they are incredibly difficult to replace! However, with the Impact, you can easily get replacements wheels for just a few dollars; and the actual replacement of the wheels is as easy as it gets! Also, the release mechanism on the Avenger is is easier on your fingers tips, as the tabs are smooth. Whereas the tabs on the Impact have a built-in roughness that prevents slippage when pulling them, thereby reducing the chances of pinching your fingertips, as is the case with the Avenger. So both have positive takes on the same principle.Overall, both are good, and the Impact Rolling Stand is a good value. If it was the same price as the Avenger, I would probably give the Impact only 4 stars, but since it is less expensive, and it works well, 5 Stars is fair.
