There's no longer a need to mount your rig on a wooden base with this Ladder Mount Base from RigWheels. The base allows you to mount your rig onto a ladder step or table surface without the need for an additional wood rigging base. Included in the base setup are two RigPlates, both 4 and 6" long connecting bolts, and additional mounting hardware. The plates mount on the top and bottom of a folding ladder step using the bolts to accommodate a separately available ball head adapter.

A: The GP-SS is unique in that you can invert it and mount the camera on what is normally the bottom of the head. The advantage is the now-top of the head, because it is now sitting on a ball, is easily leveled for any purpose including panoramas.

A: The collar system base is what connects to the tripod. To be compatible the top plate of the tripod needs to be removable and needs to allow 70mm accessories such as this one to be placed in.
