A: Yes, this monitor offers Anamorphic De-Squeezing as a feature.

Q: 6. What is recommended milliAmp/Amp and/or Wattage rating of the external power supply? (Thanks for the 7.5-24 VDC range previously answered. If the powersupply is plugged into the monitor will/can it also change the L-series battery?

A: I just used a 12V 2A adapter for an external HDD and it is working perfectly.For Charging, I measured 11.8V on the L-Battery bracket, so I think it will charge (contact the manufacturer to get a better answer on this)

Q: 7. Does this monitor have a monochrome (B&W) preview mode?

A: I don't see that option in the menu anywhere. I say no it does not.

A: The USB upgrade port on this monitor would be used for firmware upgrades, should the manufacturer release a firmware upgrade for the product.
