This high-capacity lithium-ion battery pack can power Canon EOS C500, C500 MKII, C300, C300 MKII, C200, C200 MKII, and the latest models EOS C70, XF605, and XF706. The HED-A60 includes an external USB-A 5V/5W/1A power output, and a dual D-Tap DC 14.4V power output, that can deliver 115W/8A for all professional external devices.

Two built-in D-Tap power ports allow you to connect two different products—an on-camera LED light and video monitor or a wireless transmitter and digital recorder—and get simultaneous power with the battery attached to the camera or separately as an independent power station. The opposite orientation of the D-Tap connectors provides more flexibility. The max power from the two D-taps is 95W.

A built-in 4-LED power meter displays the remaining battery percentage at 100%, 75%, 50%, or 25% at the press of a button.

The USB 5V/1A output can be used to power any external USB electronic device. This function allows you to use the HED-A60 like a power station to charge your cell phone, tablet, or other electronic devices that can be powered with USB 5V power.

Using the built-in data communication chip, the battery syncs with the camcorder to display the exact power percentage on the LCD screen. HED-A60 is fully compatible with the latest Canon camcorder models, including EOS C70, XF605, and XF705.

The latest Samsung and LG lithium-ion cells (model 18650) are used, giving you no effect on memory, which means the battery never loses its ability to hold a full charge, allowing for a lightweight and compact battery.

The circuit in the battery provides abnormal current, voltage, short circuit, and overheating protections, giving the battery a longer operational lifespan and enhanced safety features.
