A: I agree with all the other folks, it does not scratch the camera body, in fact, it protects the bottom of the camera. Don't waste your money on the cheap L plates, get the RRS plate, you won't be sorry.

A: It will work with any ballhead that has an arca-swiss plate.

A: Assuming you mean the clamp on the tripod..... If the clamp is loose and the bracket slides towards the grip, then it will stop as the bracket widens to match the size of the grip. In all other directions (landscape and portrait) there is no stop and you will need to catch it.

A: Im not a Bogen user. Ive been using RRS for the last 12 years theres nothing better. Worth getting one of there ball heads.
