Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is it made out of metal or plastic?

A: The Oben ASPTA-20 Smartphone Tripod Adapter BH #OBASPTA20 is made of Aluminum.

Q: 2. Can the TT-200 be converted to the TT-100 ball head configuration?

A: Yes, it can convert down to the TT-100 configuration.

Q: 3. When I use a camera D7100 with lens 18-300mm, which weight is about 3lb, Could Oben tripod TT-50 support them?

A: The TT-50 is a small table top tripod. With the ball head in a vertical position it may be OK. If there is any pressure on the ball head, it could creep. A better choice may be the Oben TT-100 which has a removable head. See the link below. If the head cannot handle the specific situation, a more robust head can be attached.

Q: 4. what is the length of a single leg from the base?

A: Hi! It is 12 cm

Q: 5. Is it an orange color trim to match the nexstars, or is it red?

A: The trim on this bag is red.

Q: 6. What's the length of the straps that attached this to the legs? I'm looking for one to fit very large Losmandy telescope tripod, the leg diameter is almost 10 inches. very thick tripod legs. My Vanguard version velcro straps are way too short. Thanks in advance for any answers.

A: The velcro portion has an effective circumference when wrapped of approximately 21cm / 8.2", which means the leg at most can have a maximum diameter of 6.6cm / 2.63".

Q: 7. How long is each leg of the tripod?

A: Each leg is 4 3/8 inches long.

Q: 8. Leg base dimensions?

A: About 15 cm.......it was a good purchase, good quality.

Q: 9. Is anyone using this as makeshift spreader of sorts? I have a tripod whose legs spread just a little too wide as their narrowest position and am wondering if this is stable enough to reign them in a little

A: I wouldn't recommend it as a spreader, it would not be stable enough for that purpose.

Q: 10. Can I shoot straight down with this tripod? Thanks, Chuck

A: Yes I have used it for this purpose

I was just checking out with my cart full of items and a message popped up saying that if I spent $8 more dollars I would receive free shipping for my orders. On a whim I searched quickly for a cheap item to just get me the free shipping. This is probably the most talked about piece of my gear on set now. Everyone always asks where I got it. It's perfect for throwing in a H4N recorder with wireless transmitters for easy reach. I highly recommend this smart little beaut. Also great for car keys:)

I bought this hammock to use with my Dolica tripod, on which I mounted an easel box for outdoor painting. I put a couple of small sandbags, a large water bottle, and paper towels in the hammock. I have been on location with this setup when the winds were gusting to 20-30 MPH, and it provided excellent stability. The Velcro straps adjust to differ positions on the tripod legs, so I can set up with a lower or higher perspective. The hammock itself is large, sturdy, and holds quite a bit. Very pleased with the result. Great price.

Unlike Anywhere USA, up here in the SanJuan Mountains- which are higher than high- staying upright on anything but level with the wind being anything other than gentle or consistent can be a considerable back country challenge. A well weighted tripod hammock sure helps us out way out yonder. Thanks again, B&H!

Well made, seems very solid compared to many fabric items sold nowadays... Should stand up well when weighted with stones, brick, etc. Good addition to my Oben 3535

Now I have a place to park headphones, spare batteries, mints, etc.. Acts like a spreader too. For the pricepoint it's a great product. Highly recommend.

I use them in my high school TV Studio. The work great for creating a place to store the Telex headset and belt packs, as we all other cables when not in use. I have not used them to add additional weight to a tripod...

Cheap but effective. Great addition to any set of sticks. I use mine to help hold materials, phone, lens, etc during a shoot. Great bag area to hold 'stuff'.
