The Q13 13.3" 12G-SDI/HDMI Broadcast Studio Monitor from Lilliput is a 13.3" broadcast studio and field monitor with a V-mount battery plate and a native resolution of 3840 x 2160. It has the capability of supporting up to DCI 4K60 and automatically scales all incoming video signals to properly display these on its UHD screen, which boasts a 1000:1 contrast ratio, a viewing angle of 178°, and 300 cd/m² brightness.

The Q13 features an HDMI 2.0 input and HDMI loop-through output, as well as two 12G-SDI and two 3G-SDI inputs with respective 12G-SDI and 3G-SDI outputs that support single-link, dual-link, or quad-link 12G-SDI signaling. The monitor supports HDR color spaces, audio vectoring, and accurate color calibration. You can also load custom 3D LUTs for quick access to a variety of color reference options. Other features include tally, quad-split multiview, stereo speakers, and headphone output. A 12 VDC power supply is included for powering the monitor from an AC outlet when working within a studio environment, or you may also power the unit with a V-mount battery using the included battery plate.

When HDR is activated, the display reproduces a greater dynamic range of luminosity, allowing for colors and lighter and darker details to be displayed more clearly. You can use preset Logs or load your own custom LUTs in .cube format via the front panel USB port.

A: We have been using the monitor in the studio and I am considering it for night football games as well. It is plenty bright for studio use but have not used it outside. The construction is quite light weight (and that may stop me from using it outside the studio) but the price point and image quality for my uses have been outstanding.

Q: 8. Will this work with the standard blackmagic 2.5K Camera?

A: It works with blackmagic 4K production camera with the SDI output set to 1920 x 1080 (not 4K). At first all monitor functions worked EXCEPT focus peaking, but the camera has built in focus peaking so that did not matter. It still bothered me so I contacted Lilliput support and they suggested doing a factory re-set. It worked! The monitor has both SDI and HDMI inputs, so if, like me, you also have a DSLR, it's perfect (for the price)

Q: 9. Is this an 8-Bit or 10-Bit Monitor?

A: Sorry, but the bit depth of the Lilliput 15.6" 12G-SDI 4K IPS Monitor (V-Mount, 6 RU) has not been released by the manufacture.

Q: 10. Does this monitor support 2x anamorphic de-squeeze?
