There would be no effect to the lens' focal length when using the above lens adapter. As such, as the Voigtlander Heliar-Hyper Wide 10mm f/5.6 Aspherical Lens is designed for use on full-frame sensors, it would be a 10mm lens when used on the Canon EOS R Mirrorless Digital Camera or the Canon EOS R6 Mirrorless Digital Camera.

Q: 8. I haven't used any ultra wide lenses before, so I might be entirely wrong. Looking at the lens front, there's a petal lens hood. If the lens hood is placed in such a way that it won't get in the way, wouldn't it be possible to maybe reduce the size of the hood and instead place a filter thread like 77mm that would be placed within the boundaries of the lens hood?

A: Putting a filter close to the front element would cause vignetting, especially with such a wide angle lens.

A: This lens can be adapted to a Panasonic S1 with a Leica M to L adapter.
