Featuring dual-mic Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) for use in loud environments, the Hollyland Solidcom C1 Pro Wired Headset connects to the hub (available separately) via a 10-pin LEMO connector to function as a master headset for this full-duplex wireless DECT intercom system. The system supports up to 9 users at the same time and allows for further expansion by daisy-chaining additional hubs to accommodate more headsets.

The single-ear design is comfortable to wear all day, and an over-ear leather cushion, on-ear foam cushion, and microphone windscreen are included. When paired with a hub and remote headsets, the system transmits in the 1.9 GHz spectrum and uses proven DECT 6.0 technology to ensure secure and reliable transmission at a line-of-sight range of up to 1100'—making it well suited for a variety of applications including film/TV production, concerts, and live events.

For clear communication in loud environments, engage the dual-mic ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation) feature. The ENC algorithm combines the main directional microphone at the speaker's mouth with a secondary omnidirectional environmental mic on the earcup to cancel out unwanted background noise for more intelligible speech. The microphone's wide 150 Hz to 7 kHz frequency response ensures detailed voice capture to keep your team working efficiently.

The Pro version of the C1 system offers increased portability and durability over the original, and this dust-and water-resistant single-ear wired headset—for use with the hub—is designed to provide a comfortable all-day wearing experience.

The microphone boom on each headset rotates 360°, allowing for left or right orientation. Rotating the boom arm up or down conveniently mutes the mic when not in use. Alternatively, the mute button on the earcup can be set to Mute or Push to Talk, depending on the user's preference.

The C1 Pro Hub Base (available separately) lets you use up to 8 remote headsets at once and is backward compatible with the Solidcom C1 system. Note that the ENC technology functions by removing the environmental noise at the microphone side. Whether you're wearing a C1 or a C1 Pro, the environmental noise you hear will be significantly reduced as long as the sound is coming from a C1 Pro headset.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can i pair a older UltraLITE remote to a newer UltraLITE HD main? I can't get the older UltraLite into pair mode where it's blinking blue/red.

A: You may need to clear the main headset before you can pair the remote headset. Here is a link to Eartec's instructions: http://eartec.com/programming-ultralite-printable-instructions/ If you are still not able to get it working, contact tech support at Eartec. You can reach them by phone at 800-399-5994 or 401-782-4966. Their offices are based in Rhode Island and they are available Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM EST.

Q: 2. Can we link hubs to extend the range of the network? We use this system in theatres but would like extended coverage for backstage areas.

A: Unfortunately hubs cannot be linked to extend range. Only one hub per system is permitted.

Q: 3. Would this work for two hearing impaired people to talk with each other when they are driving in the car together?

A: Yes. The Eartec UL2S can be very loud as it is made to operate in environments with moderate background noise.

Q: 4. What is the wire coming out of the monarch attached to?

A: The Monarch is a wired headset. The wire in question is plugged into the Hub.

Q: 5. Can you add more headsets to the system - so 10 people can all communicate at once?

A: With one hub alone, you can connect up to 8 remote wireless headsets, plus one headset wired to the hub for the 9th user. You would not be able to have 10 users communicate with a single hub, but it is possible to expand further. Using the interlink cable # EAHB35IL , you can link two hubs together for a total of up to 16 users to talk and listen on the system.

Q: 6. Hi, just want to confirm package detail before check out.It appears that this package contains 5 rechargeable batteries for the headsets, and 1 rechargeable battery for the hub. If it doesn't come with a stand alone charging unit(like the multi base in the accessories), do we just plug the AC adaptor into the headphone with the battery inside to charge the battery?

A: The Eartec HUB systems all ship with an 8 bay multi-charging unit that can accommodate charging of all the included units simultaneously. https://bhpho.to/2hHIIVo
