This 4-stop, 100 x 150mm Soft-Edge Graduated IRND Filter for Sq100 Filter Holder System from Hoya is ideal for use in landscape photography, where the scenery and horizon tend to have complex or uneven structures, allowing the luminosity of bright areas to be balanced with the dark areas in the image. This filter makes it possible to darken the sky by 4-stops for more color and details, while retaining foreground image details. The filter's rectangular 100 x 150mm format allows the density separation line to be placed anywhere in the image area.

Made from toughened glass, this filter is designed to endure harsh conditions during travel and adventure. The IRND nano coating for both sides of the clear optical filter glass does not only remove IR contamination, but also creates a truly neutral color balance through its applied ACCU-ND technology. This prevents any noticeable color cast to images. Additionally, its water repellent and anti-reflection coating drastically minimizes the risk of random light reflections while increasing the light transmittance. It can be used in conjunction with other filters for customized imaging.

A: The OM SYSTEM M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f/2.8 PRO Lens is the same as the one labeled Olympus. The weight difference is that the OM one is listed with the tripod ring and foot and the Olympus one is not. Note they do weight the same.

Q: 2. ANy slider adapter for this tripod like there is with the 75mm head ones?

A: there isn't a specific adapter for it but the specs state it is a 100 mm Half Ball so in theory a standard 100 mm Half Ball adapter will work

Q: 3. Will it work with olympus Teleconverters?

A: Olympus teleconverters are only compatible with a small number of Olympus lenses; they are not compatible with the Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmar 100-400mm f/4-6.3 II ASPH. POWER O.I.S. Lens.

Q: 4. Does this lens work with the OM-5 focus stacking feature?

A: Unfortunately, the OM SYSTEM M.Zuiko Digital ED 14-150mm f/4-5.6 II Lens is not compatible with focus stacking on the OM5.

Q: 5. When updating the 40-150 2.8 zoom, did they update the tripod collar foot to include a Arca-Swiss dovetail groove?

A: The OM SYSTEM M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f/2.8 PRO does not have a Arca-swiss groove.

Q: 8. Is this the exact same lens as the Olympus 14-150mm II

A: Yes, the OM SYSTEM M.Zuiko Digital ED 14-150mm f/4-5.6 II Lens is the same lens as the Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 14-150mm f/4-5.6 II Lens.

Q: 9. How does it compare with 0lympus 100-400 and will it function well on the OM1

A: The Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmar 100-400mm f/4-6.3 II ASPH. POWER O.I.S. Lens is very similar to the Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 100-400mm f/5-6.3 IS Lens. The Olympus lens offers greater magnification though. So when taking photos of a flower closest to the minimum focusing distance of the lens, the flower will look larger in the Olympus lens. Also the Olympus lens will offer dual I.S. and also focus stacking. The Panasonic lens will not.

Q: 10. Does the lens offer image stalization when used on the OM-1 camera?

A: The OM SYSTEM M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f/2.8 PRO Lens uses the 5-axis in-body image stabilization built-in with the OM SYSTEM OM-1 Mirrorless Camera.
