A: The glass can be removed and replaced but not lowered down like a window. It would not be recommended to remove the glass unless it needed to be replaced.

A: This supports tablets between 9.5" height and 10.5" width.

A: I agree with Cesar, a mini fits just as great because of the adjustable range. You can also increase font size if that helps you.
