A: Yes, there are a lot of knobs and they all have a purpose. The top big knob locks the heads tilt. The lower big knob locks the main arm in position. Usually the arm is upright, but for storage or travel, you can invert the main arm. On the base, the medium knob is the pan lock. The smallest knob, when engaged, is an ingenious click-stop which will aid greatly when doing panoramas. On the main arm there is a knob to lock in the L bracket. You can remove the L bracket and then directly mount your camera if it has its own L bracket. On the bottom of the Fotopro L bracket is a knob for locking the Arca Swiss plate. Finally, on the L bracket is a knob that attaches the pan handle. As a former movie camera operator, the pan handle is what you need for "BIF" or following a "Bird In Flight." The knobs are metal and because when it is cold you are likely wearing gloves, their being metal should not be an issue. If you like a high degree of control I would say this head is for you.

Q: 5. Does this adapter also work with the televid 77 spotting scope?

A: This product is merely a "T2" ring that allows you to connect a Leica M-series bayonet mount to a third-party lens with standard T2 thread or some sort of photographic accessory allowing you to attach the lens or accessory to a Leica M camera body. It does not mount to a Leica Televid. Years ago, Leica made an accessory, part # 42301 - SLR Photo Adapter for Leica Televid 77 / 62 that had T2 screw thread at the basal end (allowing mount of any camera body through use of T2 adapter). It replaced the eyepiece and converted the scope to an 800 mm, manual focus, fixed aperture telephoto lens. However these accessories were discontinued when these scopes were discontinued and replaced over a decade ago, so they are generally only found in the used market place. To mount an modern M with "live view" to an old Televid 77 you would need to find the 42301 somewhere AND use this T2 ring between the adapter and the camera body.

A: Yes if you mean by the specs of ADSL2+. adsl2 plus is essentially a bonded ADSL connection that has two pipes going through one wire. At my house, the ISP provides two 24MPS channels to provide 48MPS cumulative bandwidth on one wire. this model only has one rj11 Jack so you couldn't Bond multiple isps on this unit.
