A: Hi,its about 3.5lbs in weight with a bowens adaptor ... so I'd say 2.5lbs plus packaging. Its more about the size of box rather than the weight. Its too big to carry as hand luggage on a plane...as i found out!

A: No, you may not. The Norman 810740 22 Soft Reflector - Type 1 Beauty Dish is designed for use with Norman studio strobes; it is not compatible with speedlights. The closest comparable item we have that would be compatible with speedlights would be the Impact 20 Beauty Dish Kit for Speedlights and VC/VS-VSD Monolights, B&H # IMBD20BDK.

Q: 4. Will this be compatible with Alien bee?

A: Yes it will work with Alien Bees, just have to buy the Kacey AB/WL Mount Adapter ($21). I have this beauty dish and I use it with my Einstein.

Q: 5. Will this work with a Bowens Mount?

A: I run Speedotron, so can't say ... sorry.

Q: 6. Will this work with a Speedotron 105 head?

A: Yes, you can use this beauty dish on the Speedotron 105 head, since this head shares the same bayonet fitting as the Speedotron M11 Brown Line head.

Q: 7. What's the exit angle of the Demi without any extra diffusion or grid?

A: Hi Juan: Unlike a simple parabola the Demi is difficult to calculate a specific angle. The Demi’s undulating surface changes the angle at several points through the reflector curvature. As well flash tube styles and location make this calculation difficult. Therefore it does not have a quantifiable angle as such.

Q: 8. Wiil this be compatible with photogenic monolighth?

A: Unfortunately, the beauty dish is not compatible with Photogenic monolights.

Q: 9. I need a mounting ring for the Mola 22inch demi that works with the Cheetah speed pro s bracket?

A: You may use the Mola Speed Ring for Bowens, B&H # MOSRBQ to attach the Cheetah Speed Pro S Bracket to this Mola beauty dish. Please see the image below for reference:

When i first saw one i thought ok ya just another beauty dish..another product they want to sell. After using it i have completely changed my mind. I think this is a must for any serious photographer. I love how to lighting looks. i can even make it look like a softbox. Its super light weight and installs in like 2 seconds. Very easy to use and control lighting with. I would highly recommend this for any photographer.. just when i thought hensel lighting couldnt get better this unit proved me wrong. 5
