A: I bought it to use with my Canon tilt-shift lenses (17mm & 24mm) on a Canon 5D Mark IV. It supported that set-up just fine. However, I did end up returning the Benro and bit the bullet for an Arca Swiss D4 geared head. I did not care for the controls of the Benro. I also had to buy a spacer to lift it up from the platform of my Gitzo tripod because of the controls sometimes contacting the tripod platform. I have no experience with any other geared head (and I haven't received the Arca Swiss D4 yet; supposed to arrive today); therefore, I can't compare the Benro to, for example, the Manfrotto geared heads.Initially upon receiving the Benro, I liked it, but soon found that the pointy knob controls for free movement of the head were not comfortable for me to use. It is not a bad head for the price, that's for sure.
